Small coastal town,. I would say, if you want to have a lot of shopping and choices on eateries, this isn't the place for you. There are a few shops and a few dining places that aren't open every day.
The property is right on the water, exactly what we were looking for. Perfect place to watch fishing boats and the tides.
Rooms vary a bit and there are some that do not have a water view. The Angelique is an end unit which is nice and I would assume keeps noises to a minimum (althought we didn't hear much from our neighbors). It has water views, a comfortable kind bed, tv, refrigerator/freezer and microwave.
Property manager was hands on, grew up in the community and obviously loves what she does and the village of Stonington.
I loved it and hope to return some day.
