Wonderful stay!
We loved our studio and the location for spring skiing. It has everything we needed, was very clean, and well stocked. We were sad the trip went by so fast and hope to visit again. We would absolutely stay here again!

Excellent location, less than 3 minutes walk from the room to Spruce Peak lifts and Over Easy Gondola. Room was spacious. I can't wait to go again.

Gorgeous location

Easy get away!
We love staying in this unit for many reasons but mostly location with our dog. It is easy to get in and out quickly and always super clean! My only wish is they would update the TV to a newer or more modern smart TV as we had more room time this trip due to bad weather. Outside of that the room is perfect! The management group is great to work with and the process is seamless!

Spruce peak 2022
Over all it was a nice stay, spruce peak itself as a resort is fabulous. Next time I will be booking directly though the hotel rather than outside source. The room was located fine and easy access for having a dog. Only down fall is you do not have pretty Mountain View’s. Secondly, this room has the absolute worst shower head if you want to take a shower than in more than just a trickle this is definitely not your room! Again don’t let this stop you from staying at spruce peak because it is a fabulous resort, but book through the hotel !

We would like to respond to the showerhead. This showerhead is the same showerhead the Lodge uses; they are water-conserving showerheads. So you won't find them much different if you book through the lodge. I don't want someone to be disappointed. Also, this room does not have mountain views. It is not listed that way. He chose this room based on his needs with the dog and was aware of the view, which is ground level and has views of the spruce village. It's a nice view, just not a big mountain view. We have many units that do have mountain views.

An Amazing Stay
Stayed here at Stowe and the place was perfect for our family of 3 including a 8 month old. Very clean, great amenities, pool and hot tub, grounds, right in the mountain! Perfect for a quick summer stay but looking forward to staying here again in the winter for some skiing!

We had a great time on our trip to Stowe! The lodge is beautiful to walk around and explore. Staff was friendly and helpful. In the room itself we weren’t too happy with the water pressure in the shower. The door for the patio was difficult to open and close but we didn’t use the patio much. There were a couple other things that weren’t in the best shape like the toilet seat but we were fine with it. Toilet paper was awful so we ended up buying our own. TV was older but we barely watched since we spent most of our time out of the room. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of space for our belongings and for us to move around the room comfortably. Overall we were fine with our stay and appreciated being in a beautiful place and having a comfortable space to rest after a day full of adventures.

We normally try to stay at the Lodge on our trips to Stowe, the property itself is so beautiful and the staff are very friendly. We travel with our large dog and they are very pet friendly, on this trip we saw about 6 other dogs. Food on property is wonderful, after an evening of skiing you can get into the large and warm outdoor swimming pool or hot tub, and then hang out in front of the fireplace in the room.

The property was perfectly depicted by the website, it was even better in person compared to the pictures. There were plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, extra pillows supplied in the unit. The check in process required a bit of back and forth communication due to confirmation of our room being ready from the rental company that was not communicated to the hotel. However, after speaking with the rental company the hotel was informed we were able to proceed with a slightly earlier check in. We had a wonderful time and would stay here again!

Enjoyable vacation
No hassle check in and check out. There are so many things you can do in the resort especially during winter. We rented and studio type room which is pet friendly. The room is perfect. Clean, beautifully set up and all things that you need are available.

Room is very nice!! Bed very comfortable. Nice kitchen area. A few problems with the room. The separate door to the toilet doesn’t close all the way and the closet is breaking along the bottom which made it a bit difficult to open on the left side. Also used soap was left in the shower. But place was pretty clean.

The listing fails to mention the owner's property manager is not the same as the hotel management firm managing the Spruce Lodge. The Spruce Lodge management firm was only responsible for anything structural or involved with the outside wall. The owner's management firm was not as willing to resolve issues like cobwebs versus our experience with the Lodge's management during a previous visit. It was evident the owner's management firm's cleaning effort was rushed and cursory. Little things like cheap paper towels, toilet paper and plastic garbage bags were minor annoyances. No one apparently checked everything was working properly. There was broken furniture, and the drain in the tub did not work properly. Other than those issues, it was satisfactory. When a leak occurred from ice build-up above the room the owner's property manager immediately called the Lodge and they responded quickly and effectively. The Lodge Valet personnel accidentally damaged my truck's passenger side rear view mirror and voluntarily agreed to have their insurance company take care of it. The Lodge personnel seemed to be overwhelmed and overworked but were always very nice and helpful. Nonetheless, there definitely was a feel of desperation and experience erosion. Given the overall pricing including all the fees and taxes, we expected a higher end experience, but, were disappointed in the downmarket reality.

This guest did have issues with water coming into the building from an ice damn outside the lodge came quickly and resolved. I spoke to her and her husband directly on the phone about the cobweb and the bathtub drain and offered to immediately and fix both issues. She told me she did not want me to come and her husband has gotten the cobweb and fixed the drain. We use Brawny paper towels and Scott toilet paper the same brand as the lodge uses. Our trash bags are from Costco and have been using them for the last 7 years without a complaint. Broken furniture I have inspected the room there is none. We are a separate management company inside the lodge that is why you can book this unit on here we send information on how that works before each guest's arrival I am going to assume she did not read this or understand. We are responsive and helpful and did everything we could to help her with these issues and always want guests to have a good time and enjoy their stay.

Great Stowe location!
Loved staying at the Lodge! The ski valet is super convenient. The kids loved the heated pool. Room was as expected. Only reason for 4 stars - a spill hadn’t been cleaned properly before we got there but loved the place.

Amazing stay, first time in Stowe
The resort is incredible. Ski in and out, ski valet, valet parking, ice skating and several restaurants are all on the property. The room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend.

Another Relaxing Stay!
This was my third time staying at Stowe Mountain Resort. The room was the perfect base camp for my daily adventures, with a VERY comfortable bed, convenient kitchenette, and a nice glass-enclosed shower. The complimentary valet parking is also a huge plus!

We stayed here in late March. It was a great location (slope side) and very comfortable. The bathroom was huge. We will most likely come back in future years. One small piece of advice. We thought the breakfast offerings were a little pricey so we bought pancake mix, drinks and maple syrup and made them in the room each morning.

Fantastic week on the slopes
This is a hotel, so as soon as you pull up, you get really top notch service from everyone, from parking attendants, to ski valet, to wait staff - everyone. Its also a resort, so you have multiple dining options, several shops, a several activity options, including ones for kids. To ski, you simply get dressed in your room and limber up, then walk to the ski valet which is inside. You put on your boots, walk right out the door, grab your skis which staff has set out for you, and walk to one of the lifts. Don't forget to pack a swimsuit as they have a hot pool that you access from indoors and its very popular even in the coldest weather. The room itself is ample, and has tons of storage space for all sorts of clothing and gear. The toilet has its own door, so more than 1 person can get ready at the same time. It has a kitchenette that is stocked with a K-cup machine and plenty of coffee. The kitchenette is also stocked with lots of extra supplies, which you will need because you do not get maid service. It has a 2-burner cooktop, so you can actually save a lot of money by bringing your own groceries. We extended our stay by 1 day and Stephanie was so helpful and accommodating. In fact, all through the process, she did a great job keeping us informed and helping make our stay a great one. THANKS!!

The room was amazing. Ground level studio, but very spacious and quaint. The bathroom was very luxurious. All of the basic amenities were there for us too, including toiletries, coffee, cream, sugar, dish soaps, flatware, silverware, and the like. We were very pleased and enjoyed a very romantic weekend. Highly recommended for a couple looking to escape.
