Everything listed was as is and was perfect. Room and hotel are lovely. We had a great time despite bad ski conditions. No need to leave the property but can also explore the town if you want to. Would go back in a minute!

We enjoyed staying at the base of the mountain with views of the summit. Loved the convenience of ski-in/ski-out. Nice amenities. Room was well-equipped with a cozy fireplace. Loved Stowe!

Relaxing getaway
We thoroughly enjoyed a couple of nights taking in peak foliage in VT and relaxing at the property. The suite is clean, well equipped and perfectly suited to a couple’s getaway. Communication with Elaine was easy and excellent. The private balcony views were particularly spectacular during our stay!

3 of us stayed at this location for our first Vermont fall foliage trip and we loved loved it! The resort facilities were awesome and the restaurant! Everyone was super nice and helpful. Location was great. The room location was private with great view of trees and mountain. The room was equipped with everything we needed if we wanted to fix our own meal and stay in.. we would definitely stay in this same room if we came again.

Met our needs
Lodge was nice; super clean and well maintained. Check in and out was a breeze. Valet service was welcomed and easy to use. Room was nice and clean. In regards to the bed; while it does have a pillow top that can shift, we found that it is a king mattress on a queen box spring. That is why it it overhangs and makes you feel unsafe like you are falling out of bed. Sadly, not comfortable at all. We enjoyed the working fireplace. Thank you.

Stowe Mountain Lodge Suite
Great stay at the Stowe Mountain Lodge in 2 suites from this owner. The suite was great, as pictured, and you cannot beat this location and resort! Owner was excellent and we will definitely return.

Do Not Rent from this property manager
The hotel was great and good location . Issues were related to dealing with property manager . Safe did not work . One travel size bar of soap , shampoo , conditioner for 4 people for 3 days . Unit was much expensive compared to other identical unit VRBOs in the same hotel of the same size . Additionally , there were several extra charges added at checkout for cleaning the studio after our departure . This was over and above the advertised rate of the rental . Property manager was unresponsive and disrespectful .

The studio has had multiple 5 star reviews over the past several years. Stephie was unable to get a reservation with the hotel as they were booked and she was referred to me by the hotel. Stephie said she had never booked a VRBO property before so I walked her through the process. Afterwards I saw that she had been a member since 2020. After she booked I received email after email with her requests/demands every one of which was accommodated. They were unable to open the safe and were exceptionally rude to the hotel security person who had it working within hours of their arrival. No additional charges were made at check out. We are not able to charge a guests card without sending the guest a payment request and no requests were sent to the guest. I was extremely responsive to Stephie's multiple emails upon arrival when I was told that items requested were not in place. Stephie had not looked elsewhere in the room for these items.

Excellent accomodations! We love the studios at Stowe. This was out third year coming up to Stowe. So convenient in many ways. Fireplace wasn't working upon check in and the owners had it fixed in less than 24 hours.Thank you!

An Excellent early ski season stay
The Lodge at Spruce Face is an elegant place to stay with top tier amenities. The outdoor heated pool was a favorite with my children. The staff was hospitable and helpful and made it easy to enjoy the mountain even if the weather wasn’t cooperating. We loved it.

Wonderful stay
First time visiting Stowe and we really enjoyed it. The room was great with everything you need. The air in the room was very dry so wished we had something like a humidifier. Also, a couple of blankets would have been helpful. We loved having tons of extra towels. Thank you for sharing your property with us, we were able yo make great memories with our family and friends.

Wonderful Stay at Stowe
Great property with everything you need for a great ski vacation. The room was well appointed and thoughtfully laid out. The "kitchen" was perfect for what we needed to enjoy relaxing breakfast in the room. Restaurants were good. The ski valet was amazing. All resort employees were great and helpful -- even the over-stressed car valet folks. Checkin on a Sunday is crazy hectic so arrive early. The only nitpick on the room was the bed was super comfortable but high in the middle and falls off on either side so you feel like you'll roll off overnight. All in all - a great place.

Everything met or exceeded expectations with the property. Great views, ski in/out, close walk to pool hot tub area, close to ski valet. Lots of food and beverage options on site. Great bathroom. Of note: these are owner units, not hotel owned so no room services. Might hear occasional dogs barking as we did. Check in and communication was easy. I recommended them to use signable or digital document for lease contract signatures (a short term lease agreement was required). Print-scan-sign method is outdated and burdensome for the guest. Only complaint as someone else mentioned is the soft and lumpy mattress. It is definitely sloped/warped toward where people sit at the edge. Has very little support, and has a horrible plasticky and slippery mattress protector. Whether they're new or not as owner commented is irrelevant. The mattress and pad/protector should go asap. They degrade the overall experience as everything else is great. Would give 5 stars if had a quality mattress with better cover and sliding glass door needs to be serviced. It is finicky to open-close-lock and leaks substantial cold air even when locked. PS Bring humidifier, units are very dry.

Highly recommend this listing for a getaway! It was clean with a great setup for a family of 4 or couple. We enjoyed the pool and even on the raining days it was pretty busy! The room had easy access to the pool and the village. Thanks for a great time!

Comments on studio and on resort service (separate issues)
The studio itself was fine, exactly as expected, except for the mattress, which needs to be replaced. It is so soft you could practically fall off the bed. The resort is clearly suffering from COVID shortages of experienced staff. Front desk, restaurant, and valet staff were overwhelmed, inexperienced, and uninformed, although friendly and trying to do their best. There is not enough food on premises to deal with the number of guests, and the quality is way below par for a resort of this caliber. The obligatory valet parking is a problem at peak hours when everyone needs to go off premises for dinner reservations. The physical setting is lovely and the atmosphere is very nice, but this resort needs much better management and operations.

Leila, Thank you for your feedback on the studio, the mattress is less than one year old. The issue is the mattress topper which comes unsecured from the mattress during some stays. This is also new however we will remove from the bed. Unfortunately the short staffing and management of the hotel are not within our control and hopefully this will improve. The restaurants in town are very good and worth the trip
