“The Inn is very quaint, the rooms are decorated nicely, clean and all the amenities one could need. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful and the food delicious!”

“Samantha checked us in and is so friendly and kind. I enjoyed chatting with her almost every day during our week long stay. Debbie is an excellent server at the breakfast buffet and even gave us great advice on local bakeries and easy hiking spots to check out. Also, Yasheen is wonderful at the front desk. “Huge train sirens in the middle of night for several times. ”

“The elevator was broken and the central air was down. This was not communicated to us before we arrived so we could not make other accommodations. They did have a window AC. However this made it so we couldn’t pull the shade all the way down. We didn’t get a good night’s sleep with the sun pouring in. We were in the area for our anniversary. Highly disappointed. “It’s a typical inn—nothing more, nothing less. To be honest, I haven’t stayed at an inn in quite a while, so maybe this is standard now. There is no daily housekeeping unless you specifically request it. Even after we did, I’m 100% sure the bed sheets were never changed. The shower water pressure is extremely low, although the water does get nice and hot. The towel warmer in the bathroom was a nice touch. The most ridiculous thing in the room was the “mini fridge.” It’s more like the tiny……

“The room was perfect and the outside area was fantastic. Located right on a river with a covered bridge that was an easy walk. Had a great conversation with the owner one night on the outside patio with a fire going in the fireplace on the patio. Would definitely stay there again when in the Woodstock area. Inn is dated 1791.”

“Great hotel! Our room was spacious and we loved having a full size fridge and mini-kitchen. Insanely loved the bath products (sorry, I love that kind of thing!). We had a great dinner at the restaurant which has a wonderful vibe and friendly staff. When we checked in, the front desk staff forgot to mention breakfast was included (clearly I had forgotten, too)-- took me 2 days to realize that! Breakfast was great. Another plus-- the gigantic backyard/meadow adjacent to the river is stunning and……
