The unit we stayed was okay, but The aircon was so noisy, kept us all other kids awake all night, staff were really friendly & helpful though. The bed & mattress runs away when you try to sit on it. Average stay.

One of the more budget friendly options available. Staff were friendly. Cabin was spacious and comfortable enough for short stay.

Didn’t like smoke alarm twice during the night. Thought maintenance was not up to scratch. Was hugely more expensive than all the other places we stayed and was my least favourite.

Liked everything. We were in the cabin section and it was very nice and quiet. Disappointed that we did not see a platypus in the creek that runs through the park.

The cabin that was on the Expedia site looked very different to the cabin we were given. The cabin was old and needed some maintenance. It provided all our needs as far as utilities and it was clean. It was described to us as the Tradies Cabin but the list at the Holiday Retreat did not list a cabin of that name. Maybe Expedia should enquire what cabins are available so there is no confusion for other travellers.

Hi PamelaThe Tradie cabins are older style and that is the cabin you booked. They are much more affordable and a minimum three nights.

Close to wharf - just 15 minutes walk away. Cottages close toether but no noise worries. Very clean, if somewhat dated, inside.

Enjoyed our stay cabin was clean.2 bottom bunks could do with better matresses springs poking though no padding,no oven to cook with was a pain but got around it, door on the main bedroom be great to.walksaround the grounds was good didnt see any platypus. Staff helpful and friendly.

Was close to harbour for the cruises, the bed was comfortable, the area quiet. Barbecue facilities were good for dinner.

This was our most expensive stay whilst travelling Tasmania. Was cheaper to stay at Launceston Country Club and Wrest Point Casino. Asked for a queen and a pull out sofa. The cabin was immaculate until we turned down the sofa bed which had stains on the bed cover along with rat droppings and cockroach legs. We didnt even get supplied with additional bed sheets, pillows for the sofa. Ended up sharing the queen bed for this trip. The grounds could also do with a clean up. Molly's cafe at the front of the caravan park was disgusting. Old dry cooked food on display and was told they stopped making coffee after 5pm?

Burn marks throughout the carpet in the cabin. The couch wasn’t comfortable to sit on. The dining chairs were folding picnic chairs which we swapped for the outdoor chair to make it bearable. WiFi was crap. It kept dropping out. No hair dryer? I’ve never stayed anywhere that they don’t supply them. Overall not happy at all

Even though most of the cabin was older style it was clean. The kitchen bench was newer and the bed linen was good quality. Apparently there’s a resident platypus but I didn’t manage to spot it.
