「The rooms were freezing and when we informed the manager we were told that the heating was broken. It was about 3 degrees outside that night and they didn’t even attempt to give us an electric heater or anything.」

「On arrival, gave our room key and shown entrance when pub shut how to use everything etc. Put in a room which was fine but had tape down across the floor to the bathroom.
When we asked for towels, Tommy apologised and said we should not even be in that room, so he helped my husband move to a bigger and better room.
Tommy could not do enough for us. Breakfast has lots of choices. You just have to ask as there's no menu. Again Tommy brilliant with service and prompt delivery. A very happy chap. Id...

「My husband and I, along with our dog, have just spent a wonderful week at Garden View.
The hosts, who live in the main house at the address, Steve and Judy, were welcoming and friendly.
The property is situated in a perfect place for exploring South Devon with a bus stop just yards away that runs hourly to Brixham min one direction and Kingswear (for Dartmouth via ferry) in the other.
A short walk up the road enables yoi to catch a bus to Paignton and beyond.

「We stayed for one night only and the reception was friendly. We bought a plug-in air freshener as the room smelt funky. The single bed was uncomfortable. Very noisy at night due to karaoke - but this was the summer in Paignton so I guess it’s normal. Hotel is near the main strip so very convenient. 」

「I really liked this hotel, it was our second visit but, they completely messed up our dinner. We pre ordered the roast pork but, unfortunately they ran out! We ended up with ham, egg and chips which was laughable, the ham looked like thinly sliced spam, the egg was overcooked and we had a few oven chips! It was so bad we got up and walked out, which i have never done before and I’m 67!
I have emailed the hotel but, no reply!
We won’t be going back!」
