“This is a 'theme' hotel (its decoration has a very nautical focus, centered around the Battle of Trafalgar). The rooms are named for various sea captains, and the decoration follows that lead.
So it is quirky, but nice and comfortable. My wife and I really liked it.
The daily breakfast is quite good; but we did not eat in the restaurant -- there were plentiful options throughout Gamala Stan, just steps away.
One caution: the hotel's floors - at least, the one we were on - have two levels,……

“Beautiful, spotlessly clean & super comfy hotel not far at all from Stockholm centre. Situated in a very quiet area, opposite a lovely, large park. Breakfast is good, staff all seemed friendly & we had no issues whatsoever. TV with your name on is a nice touch, although only Sky news in English, so thank goodness for YouTube (we were often out anyway). Nice idea with the bathrobe & slippers & other small touches - they really had thought of everything you may need. Only three minor things we can……

“wonderful location of the hotel. breakfast was fine. The position of the air-conditioner in the penthouse is right above the head on the left and somehow it had some strange noise. Had to sleep with the air-con off for several nights. Fortunately it was not too hot. Knew the room was fairly small when booking, not complaining, just left the luggage on the plank in the toilet and covered it with a raincoat bought from a museum . Problem solved. Couldn't leave it on the floor due to knee problems.……

"The hotel is very conveniently located, right next to the central station, and there are many different restaurants nearby.
However, the room windows are very close to the road, making it quite noisy. Housekeeping service was average, as the staff did not replace our towels during cleaning."
