The location was perfect: right by the big new church in the center of downtown. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was small but not tiny, and comfortable. Breakfast was a perfect deal, with tasty and healthful array of breads, fresh fruit, condiments, and yogurt. I would be happy to choose this hotel again in the future.

Hotel staff are great. The place is clean and decor is nice.
I’ve given it 4 stars because I felt the breakfast was good but a little basic with not enough hot vegetarian options, and the location was a bit farther out so, longer walks, longer bus journeys or more taxis. Taxis are not cheap.
It was expensive at the bar and cafe…but I don’t think it would be any different elsewhere in the city.
Not sure I’d go back to this hotel, but I would check out one of their other hotels in the city.

The room was the very top floor with a skylight that looked toward the church. And a window facing the Perlan. It was clean and comfortable with everything needed forvour syay. The only issue was only having a tub but we made it work. I highly recommend Oddsson downtown.
