The setting is lovely, with great views, and although compact, the property was well laid out and equipped. Would definitely like to return sometime.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the cottage and were sorry we had to leave. The cottage was cosy and very well equipped. We especially loved its tranquil - yet central Cotswold - location (near the Minchinhampton commons) and the great view. Just perfect.

We had a lovely time staying in the cottage. Was very clean and had everything we required. Some lovely walks but can be quite steep in places. Was a great place to sit back and unwind from busy, noisy daily life. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a quiet place with beautiful views .

Stayed for 3 nights in October. Beautuful compact cottage perfect for 2 adults. Cottage is very well equipped in a quiet, tranquil area. Many footpaths and walks to explore, local pub (Blackhorse Inn) has amazing views. Well worth a visit.

The cottage was just what we expected. It was very homey and was centrally located to a lot of amazing little villages located in the Cotswolds. Kirsteen our host was amazing, she helped to give up many helpful tips on restaurants and places to see. She answered my questions promptly. We will definitely stay ther again if we are every back in the United Kingdom.

This small cottage has character, it is pleasantly decorated, comfortable and had everything we needed during our stay. Peacefully tucked away off a winding road, with views of the village allotment, cottages and distant hills. The small patio garden with pretty spring planting and visiting birds was a delightful spot to sit and enjoy the sunset.

Cosy well equipped cottage in a lovely location. Friendly neighbourhood with great walks direct from your door. Local pub, The Black Horse, was most welcoming with splendid views from the dining area and garden.

We like to be away from everything. This is the place for that. Nestled on top of the hills with nothing but cows to get in your way.

The cottage is so pretty and in a perfect rural location for walks straight from the door and peaceful evenings. Pub The Black Horse is just a few minutes walk away with excellent views. The garden is a delight, space to sit, great views and ideal for our dog. We would highly recommend this cottage and would definitely return. Kirsteen was responsive and welcoming although as it is lockbox access not physically present which we prefer as it makes it all the more exciting to arrive and discover everything for yourself! Thank you Kirsteen for a fab 4 days!

Beautiful cottage in a fantastic location! We especially liked seeing all the cows roaming around freely. The cottage was within a short walk of 2 very nice pubs, both serving excellent food and very dog friendly.
We would definitely recommend and would love to come back for another visit

Beautiful setting, with wonderful views. Cottage was really lovely and so well appointed - we wanted for nothing, we felt so at home. Lovely to wander around the village, bump into the many cows and visit the local pubs. Well placed for a west Cotswalds stay. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again - fab

A beautiful location and a gorgeous little cottage. It felt like a home from home. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cleaning products. The weather was fine and we enjoyed meals in the lovely courtyard farmed with views of the countryside. I thoroughly recommend the cottage.

My mum and I just enjoyed relaxing in such a beautiful place. The cottage has everything we needed with a wonderful view to watch the ever changing skyline. The layout works so well and we really felt at home. We enjoyed lots of excellent walks using the leaflets in the cottage, either direct from the door, or from nearby Avening. The Westonbirt Arboretum is a must for a really enjoyable day out. We would love to visit again sometime

The house is located in a beautiful village. It has everything you would need for a break away from home. There was plenty of space for the three of us and we all slept soundly. There are wonderful views from the back garden and lots of great walks from the doorstep. I would definitely return.

The cottage was just was expected from the on line listing. It was cosy but plenty of room for two people. The location could not have been more delightful. Cottage was very clean and plenty of kitchenware for self catering. A nice welcome note with tea and shortbread, plenty of hot water, comfy beds. Perfect. We will return.
