“We absolutely loved the hotel's warm breakfast buffet, as well as the convenience of having coffee, tea, and hot water available throughout the day. Our room was spacious, and very comfortable, with cozy mattresses and a well-stocked bathroom. We had hoped to enjoy the swimming pool during our stay, but it was temporarily closed for maintenance. “This hotel was amazing! It offered fun things for kids like roller skating and bounce houses. They also have a bar and do karaoke for the adults. I love that you can still tell it used to be a school and the rooms are comfortably updated. Also, no two rooms are exactly alike so it's different every time you stay! It is veteran operated so very military friendly as well. I would stay here again and will recommend Local to family and friends!”

“Was the worst experience for us first thing they gave us a room the was not clean smelling bad. They didn't clean, I said in the from desk., they changed us to other was same dirty, and had bugs in the bed. We can sleep for the itching. We paid for two nights, but we can't stay one more week left and we called for refund for one night. I still waiting for my refund.”

“The rooms are not cleaned, there’s no one in the front desk after certain hours. The breakfast area was closed during the 7 to 10 am hours. Those hours are the operating hours. There’s no fan in the bathroom to help with ventilation. There’s door lock to access the guess’s room does not work. Anyone can walk in to the guess’s room area. There was a housemaid that vacuums the hallways. When asked the room’s cleaning. She indicated that they only provide towels and do not clean the rooms. Worst……

“Weird checking in via tv screen with someone remote, physically present staff tries to be helpful but seems alone in this and without resources. Hallways weren't clean, Started in terrible room without any amenities, almost left but switched to better room. Won't return as the place is now.”

“It is a quaint, antique hotel, right in the middle of Main Street. A wonderful town with so much to offer in addition to this beautiful hotel: O’Malleys, Pirtle’s Winery, Avalon Cafe, Weston Roastery, Hollady Distillery, Weston Tobacco, Beers to You, and so much more! The only thing I would recommend to the hotel is that they need to figure out their payment system for the bar area and the restaurant/cafe area: there seemed to be some confusion as to where to order a drink, who to pay, etc. It……

“I had a really nice stay there. The hotel is very nice and clean. The owners were super helpful. We had an air conditioner that was making a rattling noise and kept us up at night and the owner put in a new one for us. I was very impressed with that.”
