Great relaxing vacation

The beach access and beach were amazing! It was wonderful to be so close to Lake Michigan. Everything was perfect for our stay!

Beautiful & Spotless House on Gorgeous Beach

The photographs do not capture how great the house is and the splendor of the beach. The house is easily the cleanest and best equipped vacation home that we have ever rented. The beach offers plenty of sand and is great for long walks. Deck is great for hanging out and watching the spectacular Lake Michigan sunsets.

Beach house 2024

This is my second time at this cottage and I will come back. So many thoughtful touches, from a well-equipped kitchen, to extras in the bathroom (swabs, tissues, cotton), to so many toys, puzzles, and games for all ages. My four-year-old grandson was very busy!

We love it here!

This was our third stay at this beautiful home! The sunsets and views are magnificent, you can walk on the beach forever, lovely comfortable home where we slept soundly listening to the waves all night. We appreciate the kayaks and the SUP, the extras in the kitchen like spices and seasonings, beach towels, chairs, games, toys, books, etc., etc We plan to come back

Perfect Lake Home with great views and toys

This home couldn’t be more perfect. It was beautiful perched on the dunes over looking Lake Michigan. The beach was beautiful and clean. The house had so many amenities including a sandbox, baby pool, kayak and paddle board. Our hostess was great and made sure we had all amenities.

Always A Great Experience

Wonderful experience year after year at this property. Jackie is always available to answer questions. Everything you need is provided inside and outside. The house is well organized and very clean. Beautiful beach this year, along with great views from the deck.

Great week

The cottage was very well-equipped. Everything you could possibly need was provided, even a step-stool for my grandson so he could reach the sink. The adults enjoyed the variety of games and puzzles, and the three-year-old was delighted with all the toys!

Stunning Views

Beautiful views of Lake Michigan. Full-length deck for daytime relaxing and nighttime sunsets. Fully stocked and organized home. No beach but direct access to lake. Jackie is always attentive and responsive. Top notch all around!

Just perfect!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house was immaculate, well-maintained, and equipped with everything you might need. The views from every room of the house were incredible, and our host, Jackie, was awesome, getting in touch with us before, during, and after our stay, to ensure everything was perfect. We appreciated having the kayaks and paddle board to use. Overall, I can't recommend this place highly enough! If I could, I would give it 10 stars and we can't wait to book again!

Lovely Home

We’ve stayed at this home several years and are always so impressed with the attention paid to every detail. Very well-stocked with everything you need, so packing lightly is a great benefit. The home is spotless and well-maintained, as well as decorated so nicely with artwork and other fun trinkets. The full-length deck overlooking Lake Michigan is perfect for lounging, watching the sunset, grilling, etc. The beach has been great the last couple of years, with kayaks and a paddle board available for use. Jackie is always attentive, very gracious and makes sure all of your needs are met. We always look forward to coming back the next time!

Perfect!

This was a wonderful stay! The house has a communal room with an open kitchen and bedrooms on either side, and it all has an unobstructed view of Lake Michigan. It was perfect for a group of friends to come together, whether to cook and have a meal around the dining table or sleep and read on the comfortable couches and chairs. There is a big deck with lounge chairs and a table with umbrellas. Because of the rise in lake levels, the lake comes up to the stairs, but it's pretty shallow and is fine for adults (wouldn't be a good entry point for small children, but beach access is down a few houses). The house has tons of cooking materials plus lots of spices, oils, and vinegars. We would absolutely like to come here again.

Fantastic view of Lake Michigan

This is a lovely home with a wonderful view of Lake Michigan, not only from the beautiful deck, but from every window in the house. It is well equipped as promised. We would certainly return. My husband and I were happy sitting on the deck and enjoying the lake from there. The younger members of our family, who like to sit on the beach and also swim, found it difficult to climb back up from the beach. It seems a few more stairs are needed. There is,however, association access to the beach 2 cottages away. Older people or any one with weak knees might better go to the beach that way. We had a wonderful time in a lovely setting. Thank you for making your home available.

2024 was our fifth year staying with Jackie. We have always enjoyed an amazing time at her home. My wife and I host our daughter’s family which consists of her husband and my three grandsons. The boys are aged 7, 6 and 4 which comes with a ton of energy. As a result we need to keep them very busy so that our time is enjoyable too. We have found over the years that Jackie’s is a perfect setting to achieve this. With the Lake just steps from the back door, a stock of books, puzzles, games, toys and Meinert Park just a short walk north, there is always something to do even on rainy days. Over the years we have branched out to enjoy many other events in the area. We have visited Lewis’ Farm, rented a pontoon, chartered a fishing trip, taken in the car show parade, visited many breweries and travelled down to Muskegon to enjoy what it has to offer. Jackie’s home is always impeccably clean and loaded with most anything a family may find they need. She also provides kayaks and paddle board. My oldest grandson had a blast with those this year! You will not second guess yourself for enjoying this property with family and friends.

Our summer vacation

Our stay at the house was great! It was the best equipped vacation home we have ever stayed in. Any kitchen items, spices, oils, vinegars, etc were available. It also had kayaks and a paddle board for guest use. Additionally, there were children’s toys that our grandson played with. The house was right on Lake Michigan with a beautiful walkable beach. The deck was wonderful and we sat out there not only during the day but in the evenings as well. Beautiful star gazing. This was our family vacation for the summer ( with all our kids and grandson) and it was a wonderful place to vacation. We really enjoyed the house and location and would like to reserve again. We highly recommend this rental.

What a difference a beach makes!!!

This is my family’s fourth year vacationing at Jackie’s home. It has been absolutely wonderful each and every time. However, this year was the best because the lake level allowed us to have our own personal beach. The simplicity it provided was nothing more than magical. We didn’t have to pack up all of the beach necessities and walk to Meinert Park. That’s not to say that walking to the park is a huge inconvenience. However, the spontaneity and freedom that is provided by a private beach 40 steps away was truly fabulous. Jackie is a great host. Her home provides all the basic necessities and almost any amenity imaginable. Her home is a home. One that welcomes all ages…did I say she is a grandmother? My three grandsons love to go to the basement and explore all the toys, books and puzzles that she has for her own grandchildren. The area is also fantastic. All the privacy one could ask for yet Montague and Whitehall are a 20-25 drive away. Grocery, restaurants, quaint little shops, breweries and lighthouses are readily accessible, not to mention Lewis Farms or a pontoon rental on White Lake. You can’t go wrong here. We definitely will return for a fifth time in 2024!!! Thank you again, Jackie!

Love it here!

This property is beautiful with an amazing view of Lake Michigan. The house is very well supplied with everything you need for a relaxing vacation-cookware, spices, beach towels, chairs, kayaks, etc. etc. Lovely decorating and comfortable beds. I cant say enough about what a beautiful beach house it is

Top notch rental!

this is a top notch rental! Lovely decor and layout! Nice towels and sheets. We rent every year and this property owner offered the most thoughtful and generous amenities which made our stay even more relaxing. Excellent cookware and utensils, pretty dishes, spices, kayaks, paper products, beach umbrellas, rain umbrellas, beach towels, etc. etc. everything we needed and we were able to enjoy our time here instead of running to the store for little things. My 3 and 5 year old grandsons loved the toys in the lower level and the sand toys. The view is a magnificent vista of Lake Michigan. We enjoyed sunsets and star gazing. The decking is great, but there is no beach in front of the home right now, but you can get to the water from the stairs. THere is a long beach park 7 houses away and a wagon to cart your stuff. We would return!

Another great vacation.

This was our second year staying at Jackie’s home. Home is a key word here. Jackie provides all of the amenities of your own home with the luxury of being located within steps of beautiful Lake Michigan. Our group included three little guys four and under . To say the least there is always A LOT going on when they are awake. Besides out door activities, toys, books and puzzles are plentiful. Jackie is a wonderful hostess. Always available when needed and a great resource for local places of interest. We were very pleased once again and will return next year. Thank you for another great stay.

Super Easy!!

Jackie house is a home! All you need is your sunscreen….no wait! She had that. Just bring your clothes! Beautiful home and beautiful sunsets. We had many cloudy and rainy days due our week stay. But we still enjoyed it. Silver Lake Dunes is a must see. As is the Lewis Farm and Zoo. Super super great for kids! We will definitely keep this place on our “Re-Do” list
