Quiet beach vacation

We had an amazing time at this beach house! Just a short walk to the secluded beach. The house was perfect for a relaxing stay. We really liked the full wrap around porch with some great sunsets. We had everything we needed for a great stay!

Cute little house on the coast. It really is in the middle of nowhere, which is exactly what we wanted. Beach is clean and not crowded. Lots of good fishing.

Weekend Getaway

Our stay here was great. Location and the property were perfect. Communication was also a big plus. After I inquired about crabbing, the owners invested in a boiling pot that we were able to use. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Wonderful secluded beach home

We absolutely loved our time at this beach house. It is right on the beach and on a dead end road. We hardly saw any other people the whole time we stayed. We saw lots of wildlife and really enjoyed finding all the crabs in their shells on the rocks at low tide. We also drove to the Cameron ferry crossing and saw lots of dolphins there one evening. We did see dolphins in the ocean right in front of the house one morning too. The house has lovely beach decor. The kids loved staying up the lighthouse stairs! And the 2 bedrooms downstairs were comfortable and had plenty of room. The views from the decks were beautiful too. Nice relaxing place to get away from it all!

I am a person who lives in louisiana in the woods. I am not afraid of any place that is secluded as a matter of fact I love the quiet. I try to take at least a few days a year to go to the beach and hear the sound and wash some of my troubles and get peace of mind. That is my peace of mind. But, I also do like a good movie and quite time indoors. I am 67 years of age, by this time in life I can’t be going up and down steps, so when I get up there I am there to stay. So a good book or Tv is my thing. I have never had a place like yours and hope to never again. I do thank you for the Tv in the master, but I could not even watch a movie without interruptions I would get so frustrated with the internet I just turn the Tv off. It rained all weekend so that was pretty much my pastime. So as for my enjoyment it started like this 1) could not get in property 2) could not watch a show on Tv or play a game on internet 3) no electricity for a few hours 4) did not know who to call to see if I would be getting it backup and as property owners you should have checked to see if I was ok and if things had been resolved 5) I would not allow my children and grandchildren come to a place that is so dangerous with the wires from electrical pole. That is completely uncalled for and should have not been allowed to pass inspection

Gulf of America

Daughter wanted to see the Gulf and we did some other road tripping and sight-seeing. This was a great place to stop thru for us on the teens spring break. We found a air boat tour an hour west in Texas among the other beach and nature areas to explore. Some minor issues with the rental, but the management was receptive to our messages.

Family vacation…

We had family come south from Missouri to meet family from Florida for a long weekend. It was overall a wonderful trip. The house is located on a very quiet kid friendly beach. It was a great house and we enjoyed most everything about it. The spiral staircase to the third floor was both unique it also a challenge keeping the toddlers off it. 😉 we would stay there again.

The house was perfect for our family. The kids loved the room upstairs. We loved the area and how secluded it is. If you love to watch the ocean without a crowd around you this is the house for you! Our only complaint was the refrigerator and oven had not been cleaned but probably just an oversight. The towels were damp in the cabinet but they were all clean. No biggie!

Beautiful relaxing beach house.

Beautiful home, very nice beach views from 90% of house. Had all appliances and toiletries, wash and kitchen necessities. Loved lounging on the porch and hearing the waves. Wish we could have stayed I get and plan to come back annually or twice a year to your home. Bring some mosquito spray in case, like all beach places in Texas and LA. Closest hospital is a ways away and unfortunately we found that out when we needed it. But the Medical Center of Southeast Texas was a great facility for cardiac problems!
