“We had a wonderful stay this weekend! The property was perfect and beautiful—exactly what we needed for a relaxing mini honeymoon. It was well-equipped with everything we could ask for, and I especially loved the built-in wall speakers, such a great touch. The area was peaceful and calm, which made our time there even more enjoyable. The host was nice and did a great job with communication. The only thing to note is that there is another house right next to the property, so it wasn’t as private……

“I'm a big fan of the old school character and charm that this location delivers. It was a great stay. Enjoyed a couple beautiful sunsets and a nice campfire. Slept like a baby. I appreciated Andre's hospitality and sharing of a couple of his special stories. That's what its all about. Highly recommend.”

“Nice spot at the end of the road. Quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and comfortable, and the host was very responsive. The people before us left coffee grounds in the maker which got moldy - kinda gross, but not the end of the world.”

“Very family friendly. The old games and musical instruments were a hit with my grandkids. The owner had the pullout beds made up and ready which was a plus. The only negative was 7 people in one bathroom but we were fully aware of that going in. ”

“An amazing spot - the home is small but roomy - the water is literally right there - and the view to Lake Michigan is stunning This place is isolated - buy stuff somewhere before you come up - or it’s a 5 min drive to the nearest store, watch yourself with gas out there - the roads basically never end and it does take a bit to get somewhere Rowleys resort unfortunately will not be open again from what some locals told me - that would be a great spot to have a supper club / barThe public dock is……

“We were so impressed with the cleanliness of this property, the charm, and how well equipped it was. The beds were very comfortable. The surrounding area is great for a stroll since the neighborhood is quiet. Egg harbor is less than 10 min drive. Definitely bikable. The cottage is truly a gem. ”

“We did a vacation with my family, first time not camping in Door County. We had 10 adults, this house accomadated us great. The location was perfect for us as we really utilize the state park. The back yard was very private and provided lots of space for us to play yard games, the woods next to the property is state park land, my husband was very much enjoying looking for morel mushrooms and ramps. He found a few morels and many ramps. There were a few issues with things like the refrigerator……

“This cottage was perfect for my sister and I. We had our own bedroom and the bathroom, kitchen and living room were great for our needs. Loved that we could walk to the downtown area, to the beach area, to the marina/bay and to Peninsula State Park. Emily was great with contacting us before our arrival and very responsive if we had a question during our stay. ”

“View of the water was great as well as location. ”

“Very relaxing 6 day stay. On the water. No beach. But clean, cozy and stocked with everything you would need and then some. Highly recommend.”

“This property is perfect. We were 6 adults strong and had plenty of space for everyone. I have mobility issues and I found this home fit my needs: 1) only 2 steps to get in and 1 step to the back porch plus 2 mini-steps to the backyard ground. Easy peezy. 2) walk-in shower WITH a seat and bars for assistance; 3) no throw rugs to trip over! There is a slope in the middle of the backyard. Go slow. No biggie. We LOVED the pantry in the kitchen. How many times have you found little space allowed for……
