Comfortable home near lots of activities

We had a great visit with our adult kids in this large and comfortable home. The beds were really comfy and the kitchen was huge. We enjoyed the fire pit. Lots of nearby hiking at Cave Point and Peninsula State Park. Wineries, breweries, shops and dining are all nearby and fun to check out.

Wonderful Week in Door County

Four of us came and enjoyed the beauty of Door County for a week. The house is a perfect location, easy access to all areas. Such a clean and well-appointed home. Would recommend to anyone and would definitely stay again. Thank you so much for this listing!

Door County 2024

The steps leading to the front door need to be filled in with more mulch to make it easier to use. The steps leading to the second floor are very steep. Other than those 2 points, it was a very beautiful home!

Respite in the Woods

This place has everything you need for a great stay! It's less than one mile to Jacksonport for dinner options, bakery, and small grocery. Beautiful Whitefish Dunes State Park is just a few miles south. Most everything else is about a 30 minute drive: orchards, theater, music, shopping, restaurants, ferry to Washington Island, more beaches, you name it! All the reasons you come to Door County. This is the place to come back to for relaxation and peace. Spacious and well furnished house for families and friends groups!

Great house with lots of space.

Wonderful home with plenty of space inside and out. We enjoyed a great family vacation with older teens and our dog. It was great to be close to Cave Point for cliff jumping and Whitefish Dunes State Park to enjoy the lake with our dog.

Great Spot on a Lovely Wooded Lot

We really enjoyed our stay here! Lots of privacy but close to lots of things. The house was well stocked with essentials and appreciated having access to things like tinfoil, baggies and tupperware. It's a great location to be close to all things Door County - but away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists and traffic.

My wife, my brother, and my sister spread out in this large home and thoroughly enjoyed its features. The 3 bedrooms and 2 hallway bathrooms (one up and one down) with bottom floor openness were what we needed to meet up after several years of travel limitations.

Good Jacksonport home

It was a newer home, very clean. The only downfall was no window shades or drapes, and you can hear everything in almost the whole house. Good location close to the best beach at lakeside park.

This place was great for our quick family vacation over the week of the 4th. Great location with just a short drive to a lot of different places! The house was beautiful and perfect for our needs.

Not worth the money.

The place was nice but once all the extra fees were added in we all felt this property wasn't worth what we paid for it. The property managers obviously left default instructions from another property as the checkout instruction didn't even apply (a.k.a. the place didn't have a dishwasher, yet we were instructed to load one). Between the cleaning fee, damage waiver, management fee, the vrbo fee and taxes we paid 61% than what was listed. This is where I get into an issue with vrbo itself... the way this property was listed is extremely misleading. You can't justify a price per night difference like this when you tack on all the fees you allow Hosts and Managers to hide behind. I have another booking next month with vrbo that I'm going to cancel after this experience...

Nice cottage in the woods.

This house is quite new. Very roomy and immaculately clean when we arrived. Equipped with all the modern conveniences. It’s reasonable drive to all of the Door County high points and a nice, quiet place to rest at the end of the day.
