The Creek View Suite at Lily Bay Creek Homestead in the heart of Door County.

Welcome to the Creek View Suite at Lily Bay Creek Homestead! A peaceful spacious getaway on 40 acres along Lily Bay Creek in Door County. Centrally located, only 8 minutes to downtown Sturgeon Bay and 12 minutes to Jacksonport on Highway 57, you'll have easy access to all your Door County must-do's. Discover the Door County lifestyle with your own private suite surrounded by beautiful vistas of fields, wildflowers, wooded paths, wildlife sightings, roaming chickens and fabulous fungi.

The Creek View Suite is available for short-term vacation rental and accommodates up to 4 people. Located on the lower grounds of the property with a view of the woods and creek (April-July), the suite has a private entrance, parking for two standard vehicles. Free WIFI.

Lily Bay Creek is an ephemeral waterway that begins its flow in early April with the melting of snow and is also spring fed. At the homestead, the creek opens wide to create a large pond and as the summer progresses the pond plants absorb the water to become a wetland. By mid-July, the water is nearly entirely absorbed into a lush green zone. The creek and surrounding woods host a variety of wildlife including deer, coyote, sandhill crane, wood duck, ground fowl and even experiences an early spring sucker fish spawning.

It is the permanent residence of Helen del Guidice, who serves as the Curator of Exhibitions and Collections at Miller Art Museum in downtown Sturgeon Bay. Helen is also a practicing artist and the owner of Del Guidice Studio, an art studio and gallery located on the low grounds of the Homestead.

Best kept secret
It’s a lower level walkout apartment. The one bedroom has a great mattress. Slept like a baby. There is an open concept with a small kitchen, table and chairs, a sitting area with YV that has ROKU. WiFi. Out door spaces to sit and enjoy. Bathroom with shower and a 2nd bed at the other end of open area. The driveway is a little hard to see but that adds to the beautiful setting. Property manager was friendly and helpful. A nice clean and comfortable place. Loved it!
