Difficult to find a Parking spot for your vehicle. I had to walk around 600m to be able to park in the street. Hotel Parking seems to be too small for the amount of guests and vehicles.

Room was very cold even with heating on (winter booking) and it seemed like the windows weren’t effectively glazed. Biggest issue by far was breakfast. Couldn’t find a seat anywhere and the staff were overrun with demand. Seemingly not enough capacity to cope with the number of guests. Gave up and had to get breakfast elsewhere which wasn’t easy given location.

It was terrible experience for me.the guy on reception was rude and showing that he is doing favour for us. Room was very small. Room has terrible smell. Room didn't provide a single water bottel at this price. Parking we have to pay extra which is 15 euro per night. While breakfast staff asked me if we are Muslim. I don't know if I were Muslim I may get good breakfast and service. I will say please avoid this hotel at any cost.

Stayed here on a recent trip, while the lobby area and general areas of the hotel look to be in good condition. One notices a lack of attention to the fine details in the rooms. Better attention could be taken by cleaning when vacuuming the rooms or by leaving an additional toilet paper roll when the one given is almost empty -- Other guests during checkout also complained about similar. Also the bathroom/shower design makes it next to impossible to take a shower without soaking the entire bathroom, toilet, etc. Though I will say the bed was comfortable to get a good nights sleep, and the location was actually quite quiet.

Worst hotel I have stayed in- keep away

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at using Hotel. com. Paid for a superior double room which was basic with a view and window over a garage. The room smelled of damp. The bathroom flooded when showering ( serious flooding). No drink making facilities- tea/coffee/ water. No tissues. No cups or glasses ( 2 small plastic tumblers). Shower head pole came off the wall. This is/was not a double bed room; two single beds pushed together but not joined so you wake up in the middle of the night as you slip down between the gap( I was told all the rooms are like this) At best a 2 star hotel in a not too nice location with very basic facilities but charging 4 star rates. Stay in the old part of Esslingen at a 3 star hotel for a lower price and a much better experience in a much nicer location and avoid the Niu Timber if you can and certainly don’t pay for a superior room.

Das Zimmer war ordentlich und sauber. Trotz der kompakten Größe war es ausreichend. Ein wenig hellhörig war es dennoch, so dass man Hunde und Kinder aus den anderen Zimmer gehört hat. Wir waren aber vollkommen zufrieden und empfinden, dass the Niu (egal ob Esslingen in Stuttgart oder in Karlsruhe), als das Hotel, welches wir empfehlen können!

Das Zimmer war sauber und sehr geräumig. Die Betten jedoch waren schrecklich. Für große Menschen nicht geeignet. Für Paare außerdem nicht so optimal, da wir ein Zimmer hatten bei dem einfach zwei Einzelbetten zusammen geschoben wurden. Dementsprechend sind die Betten immer auseinander gerutscht. Wenn ich ein Zimmer mit Doppelbett buchen, erwarte ich auch ein Doppelbett. Beim Check In nach 15 Uhr sind wir vertröstet worden, da das House Keeping mit den Zimmern noch nicht fertig war. Als es dann los ging hatte sich dann eine Menge von Gästen angesammelt und es dauerte ewig. Auch das Frühstück hätte besser organisiert sein können. Als wir um 10 Uhr zum frühstücken gingen, gab es keine Tassen oder besteckt mehr. Viele Lebensmittel waren leer und man hatte das Gefühl, das Personal war mit der Menge der Gäste vollkommen überfordert. Bei einem Hotel für über 200€ Nacht haben wir tatsächlich mehr erwartet.
