"Very well located close to restaurants and to the White and Celeste lines of the Telepherico. Very spacious and comfortable rooms. The property is starting to feel dated but it's very well maintained and quiet. The staff is not the friendliest but they are helpful once engaged. That seems to be the norm in Bolivia, from my very limited experience."

"I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting La Paz Bolivia First off, the entire hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained throughout. One of the absolute highlights is the rooftop bar-it offers an amazing view of the city that you definitely shouldn't miss! Every morning started off right, as I really enjoyed the delicious complimentary breakfast. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is the service. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and they speak English very well, which made communication effortless. A special mention goes to Jefferson and Natalie-they were excellent people who were always eager to help with anything we needed. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again!"

"My daughter got sick during our stay and front staff carla was EXCELLENT!! She facilitated getting a local doctor to come and visit. Beyond this she was cheerful and happy to assist us during our stay. The room was highly recommended as was the breakfast and the massage facilities"

"An Excellent Place to Stay in La Paz – Hotel Madero! Hotel Madero is, without a doubt, one of the best places to stay in La Paz! From the friendly and attentive staff to the excellent location, cleanliness, and well-balanced breakfast, everything makes for a wonderful and comfortable experience. The hotel offers a perfect combination of convenience, quality, and hospitality that makes it stand out. One helpful tip when booking: Try to reserve a room on the fourth or fifth floor for a quieter stay. There is a party hall on the ground floor and a restaurant on the top floor, so rooms directly above or below these areas can be noisy, especially on Friday and Saturday nights. Aside from that small recommendation, Hotel Madero is an outstanding choice, and I would gladly recommend it to anyone visiting La Paz. A fantastic hotel that truly makes your stay in the city even better!"
