Just Right
The house was perfect. We were looking for a place with a wood burning fireplace and a little bit off the beaten path. This place was great… the kitchen was surprisingly well stocked with cookware and the house had plenty of room to spread out while still having a cozy feel. Our only complaint was the fact that several light bulbs were out (or went out while we were there). It was about 10 minutes further away than we would have preferred to be from “town” but that is just due to the fact of having impatient children with us. Overall the house was great and we would definitely rent this property again.

Christmas vacation
On our arrival we were surprised to have a Christmas tree already decorated, thank you. We hung up Christmas stocking then it began to snow. Actually we got snowed in! It all turned out beautifully except for our old chichaula past away on the drive in.

We enjoyed staying here and will be back again. Aside from not having enough hot water for our showers, it was very nice and we had an incredible time with family. Will recommend to friends.

The location was nice and so was the cabin.
I had to contact the property agency every day of our stay to address issues of bugs in the house. The cleaning person came once and never addressed the issue. Lots of dead bugs that were never cleaned up. Also bleach was used in hot tub and not chlorine. Swim suits were destroyed.

Wonderful getaway
We had a great time as a family at this lodge! The location was perfect…we could have just stayed there and enjoyed the view and fished from the pond. The views down by the river were so relaxing and beautiful as well! It was nice and secluded feeling but it wasn’t a far drive to downtown Boone and the other towns. The washing machine was broken and not working when we got there but the rental agency was great about accommodating us in other ways. We will definitely be back!

Amazing views
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We felt so secluded when we were there with the breathtaking views but were also not far from some great skiing and other adventures. Can’t wait until we can visit again.
