「It is an historic hotel deep in the mountains so it does not offer amenities that many hotels would like a pool. That’s not necessary as it offers such beauty and tranquility along with a great breakfast, cafe and a bar. Sit on the 100 footlong porch and rock yourself happy. 」

「Check in went smoothly, they even asked if I had a preference of floor. Room was clean and super hot shower. Bed was good but pillows were a bit firm. As far as breakfast it was your average motel spread, but not terrible. Would stay here again if in the area.」

「This is a nicely kept property in the heart of town. Underground or street parking is available and the staf extremely welcoming, particularly to our dog. The rooms are set up with a dog bed and bowls and if you are in doubt about how welcome they are, see the dog traets in reception. The only slight downside is that breakfast is linited to a very few items with not a piece of fruit in sight. We have stayed here more than once and all of the plusses more than make up for the breakfast. 」
