Summersville Lake Cottage

  • Step inside and enjoy this clean, updated cottage less than a minute from the lake! Cozy, relaxing you'll never want to leave! Plush carpet in the bedrooms and new wood flooring in the living and kitchen area. Fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to fix a meal right here. Comfortable, open living space with a fully covered back deck and front porch for relaxing. Full bathroom with with bath/shower combo. Get out and enjoy the area, book and you'll also have access to 2 PADDLEBOARDS!
    The space
    Fully relax in a very cozy cottage, the decor is welcoming and comfortable. You'll find everything you need in this cottage.
    Guest access
    You will have full access to all rooms of the cottage, enjoy relaxing on the front porch and back porch as well!
    Other things to note
    New in 2022, we've added an updated driveway to the cottage so that parking is no issue. You'll find easy access to the cottage right from the small driveway. Pulling a boat? No problem, you'll easily be able to pull and park along the drive. Exit is easy as the road loops around and exits at Fat Eddie's (restaurant). The cottage is conveniently located one mile from Summersville Lake ( Battle Run Recreation Area), 1/2 mile from the Upper Gauley River rafting and Kayaking put-in and 17 miles from the New River Gorge National Park

The cabin was spotless and stocked thoughtfully with little items eliminating store trips. The deck view is very relaxing. The WiFi is fast and tv is easy to operate with lots of channels. The location is spectacular a short walk to the dam and the long point viewing area.

The cottage was everything we needed for a family with 3 kids age 4-11. We were pleasantly surprised by how well stocked the cottage was. Every need was met and then some. The fire pit, grill, porches, and cozy feel made for the perfect landing place between outdoor adventures. The cottage is minutes from the lake beach area and within 10 minutes of the marina, Salmon Run, tons of fishing places, restaurants, and the dam. Check in was simple and the host was pleasant.

Paradise close to home

The property and area was everything we expected and so much more. The cottage was well furnished and had so many little extras. The lake and area are so beautiful we will definitely be back!
