“The room was nice clean and very comfortable. Easy walking to the ballpark for baseball game.”

“Louie greeted me upon my arrival and gave me a rundown of the property. He was friendly and answered all my questions. He even showed me so much of his art collection! Louie is a wonderful host. I would've loved to talk to him more. I only stayed one night since I was just passing through Akron. I have added The Berrodin Bed & Breakfast to my list of good stops!!”

“When I checked in, the front desk gave me a room on the first floor. I told her, can I stay higher floor? And I want a relatively quiet room because I need to stay in this hotel for a week. As a result, the expression on the front desk was very unhappy. At the beginning, it said that our rooms were full. After thinking about it, She still changed the room, but I changed to a room with a poor environment and close to the ice machine. So I want to give this hotel a bad review”

“Short stay and breakfast was plenty rooms very clean! Staff was magnificent!”

“Horribly misleading photos. Once you step past the lobby or look in any direction you can see that everything was dirty, run down, and smelled. There was broken or out of service signs on almost every visible area, doors windows, etc. Our room looked nice but was very dirty. The bathroom was almost unusable. The sinks backed up the tub backed up, there was tubing and bite marks all over the door frame and walls. There was half holes. It was horrendous. The breakfast ran out of everything……

“The hotel was nicely decorated. The room was clean, staff was accommodating. We did have to go downstairs and retrieve a set of sheets for the sofa bed in our room. Also there were no bellhops available, but overall we had a nice stay.”

“Multiple outlets not working in room for plugging in devices, unable to charge devices. One of the lights in room was not working. Water in the bathroom from tap and in the toilet was brown. Called front deks and they told us it was because of recent work done- only information given on calling, no info prior to that. Positives: room ready on time, multiple options for breakfast. easy parking.”

“We stayed one night with two toddlers, and it was functional. Not very clean, but not disgusting. The facilities definitely need to be updated and repaired, but the aesthetics of the room were not our priority. The bedding and towels have holes, and there are no blackout curtains.”

“The linen was dirty, switched rooms and was still dirty in the new room. Cigarette burns all over the comforters. The room smelled but the odor seemed to be masked with some type of men’s cologne. The ac leaked water all over the floor. The remote to the tv was dirty and sticky. Overall the room felt unclean. The breakfast was minimal but decent. Did not use the pool due to feeling as if it was not clean.”
