Great location near Bald Mountain Base

The property was as advertised and all appliances and amenities were in good working order. Could use updated TV in living room but otherwise very functional and clean. Location was very proximate to the slopes an downtown dining options.

Sun Valley Skiing

Great place. We enjoyed the location about 5:Minutes from the ski area by vehicle. The place was as advertised and it was well managed. I would select this Condo again is the future.

Location is Unbeatable

Could not ask for a better spot in Ketchum! An easy walk to/from town and the lifts. House had everything we needed as well. Bedrooms are good sized.

Great for Groups

Property was as advertised. Had plenty of space for four couples. The separate floors helped separate sound and privacy at night. The main floor is perfect for hanging out as a group. Walkable to Main Street. Will definitely be booking this one again.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loves staying at this 4 bedroom condo. The hot tub was a hit! Kitchens and baths have been updated but the decor is stuck in the 80s. Note there are lots of stairs if you have someone with mobility issues. Pillows need replacing and for those who like comforters when it's cold this unit uses only quilts. Excellent location within walking distance to town. We'll be back!

Great Ski Condo for a group of 8

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful time in Sun Valley and loved staying in the beautiful well equipped condo. It was very comfortable for my husband and I, our 3 adult children and their significant others. It should be noted that although you can walk to the base of River Ridge, it is a long walk in ski boots and carrying skis, so after the first day we chose to drive to the mountain base and park in the parking lot. With that said, it’s an easy walk into town for dinner or apres ski .

Nice Place, But Be Warned - Low Garage Broke 2 Sets of Skis

The place was nice enough. However our stay was severely impacted when we broke two sets of skis trying to back into the garage. The garage door is hung very low, such that it sits at the same level as the ski rack on our midsize SUV - and when we pulled into the garage it broke the tips on two pairs of skis. So in addition of buying two new pairs of skis, we were not able to get into the garage and were forced to park outside the entire trip. When we raised this to the owner they commented that “we should have gotten out of the car to eyeball if we would fit below the door....” So - long story short, don’t rent this place if you have an SUV with a rack on top - you won’t fit in the garage.

Great Location and Clean Property

The property has an excellent location close to River Run, located along the bike/walking path, just a few blocks from Ketchum and short drive to Dollar Mtn. The home itself is a multi-level townhome. It is important to note that the main living area is on the top floor which is up 3 flights of stairs, this did not pose an issue for anyone in our group but something to be aware of. However this layout allows you to takes advantage of the view of Bald Mtn from dining and living area windows from which you can see the chair lift and gondola. The home has a 2 car garage that we were able to park parallel in front of with our large SUV as we had ski racks and storage container on roof that would not fit inside so that was convenient. All of the rooms are spacious, however the room with the bunkbeds is on the very bottom level by itself with the garage and has a door that goes out to the street, for this reason we did not feel comfortable having our 2 and 5 yr old down there by themselves but would better for older kids. The hot tub was really clean and worked great, was nice to come back to after skiing all day. Nice little yard that kids can play in snow. Location to River Run is really close, you can even walk along the walking path to the base of the mtn. Bed and pillows weren't the comfiest, kitchen had basic gadgets but not totally stocked, lots of towels, felt VERY clean, living area is a little small if you have a larger group but overall had a great stay! Would book again.

We loved the townhouse we rented from Alpine! It was spacious, had everything we needed and was in a great location. We walked to and from the lift everyday. We would definitely stay here again and rent from Alpine Lodging. We rented our ski equipment from Black Tie ski rental that I highly recommend. Top notch service with very friendly employees (and a puppy named Chuck).

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The property itself was fine—not particularly many amenities, but clean and did the trick near the gondola. However, a 10 am checkout is unreasonable—especially given that you can’t in into your unit until 4 AM and it won’t be guaranteed until 6 PM. On top of that, there was a long list of checkout courses (multiple lists, each with different items on it), which really ruined the last night and morning. Before booking I even asked about the checkout list—they couldn’t tell me what was on it, but said it wasn’t much. The staff were apathetic and not particularly warm (except the maintenance guy, who was very kind and helpful). However, we shouldn’t be having to deal with maintenance, especially for things like broken appliances and malfunctioning bedroom ceiling fans—especially when you require a 6-8 hour gap between checkout and checkin. We’ve had some amazing rentals, and this one was just sufficient.

Good time seeing old friends

Comfortably fit 8 adults (2 couples). Three large beds and a set of bunk beds. Had a great hot tub, full kitchen and a gas grill. Blue tie rental was very nice service as well. Fun weekend meeting up with old friends.

Extremely poor condition

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only thing we can say about this inferior rental was that the management staff was very helpful. Our condo furnishings & especially the kitchen were worn out and subpar. We lost hundreds of dollars of food that froze inside the refrigerator, all the expensive produce purchased in SV & cheese, eggs etc, that became inedible. The refrigerator was missing interior shelves limiting storage. The pans were corroded with peeling nonstick chemicals, dangerous & unusable. Alpine brought us a few new pans which we appreciated. I will attached photos of the dishes this homeowner feels are acceptable with almost every plate damaged with nickel-sized chips; they should be embarrassed. As far as the location, the street noise from large snow trucks was intolerable, impossible to sleep. This condo is so close to the street on the bedroom side (except the master)that members of our family could not sleep. Some bed pillows were so misshapen that we could not use them. Our family has stayed in SV for over 25 years & this condo was a disgrace. I would not continue to include this property in the rental pool at any price. We paid a premium for Christmas. It does not reflect well on Alpine. Offering this property has damaged your company reputation.
