"We booked early for our trip and got a very good price. The hotel is located in a great position in town, at one end. If you are ok walking, it’s a 3-5 mins walk to the main strip in Leavenworth so you don’t even need to move your car. Parking can be tight sometimes the later it gets. You might have to park at the other end of the building or behind it. The room was clean. Had to ask for a remote for the tv because it was missing but they brought one within minutes. Bed comfortable, water pressure was good, there was a frig, good AC, there was a dvd player in the room and a library of movies you can check out. Breakfast was good. Pancakes, waffles, scrambled eggs, 2 types of sausages, biscuits and gravy, potatos, cereal, muffins, bagels, fruit, and more. We were happy."

"We chose the Blue Elk Inn based on other reviews. The room was clean, fresh, and inviting. The bed was very comfortable and the staff friendly. The property is tucked around the corner from the main drag which leads to the serenity of this hotel."

"I paid for a view room. My view was of the loud pool and hot tub. It would be nice if they included that in the room description. I was envisioning a view of trees or the mountains. Fortunately, they were able to move me but the only room available was a fireplace suite which was $70 more per night (it was 86 degrees, no fireplace needed). Other than that, the room and property was clean. No frills though. Just basic. The staff were friendly."
