Family Lake trip

Perfect house for family getaway. Everything you need is there and it's close to good restaurants. Very comfortable and lovely setting.

Fourth of July Getaway

Communication with the property management was great. The house was exactly as advertised. The dock is very close to the main channel, so swimming there can get rough, but for boating, access would be very easy.

The house was clean and well equipped. It has a nice view of the lake with fire pits and a dock. We booked this house so we could bring our boat and have it parked at the house. Unfortunately, this dock is in the main channel and has extremely rough water especially on weekends. The boat is a 25 foot open bow and was thrashed in the dock until we moved it to the marina. We had dock lines break from the stress of the rough water. The waves occasionally crested over the dock walkway. I would not recommend putting your boat in the slip due to the large waves with no wave break. Additionally, the bed mattresses are covered with crinkly plastic which is load and very hot to sleep on. For the price of the house I would have expected to have breathable waterproof mattress protectors versus straight plastic. They should include a warning regarding the rough water at the dock that will damage your boat. If you don’t plan on keeping a boat there, then the house is very nice and clean. The marina charged 30 per night for a slip rental. The management company was slow to respond questions before we arrived and would not allow earlier check in or a noon check out.
