「very convenient. beach is just across the street. exceptionally clean. mgr. could not have been friendlier. every morning a small breakfast off the lobby: bagels, donuts, cereals, juice, coffee. housekeeping staff was very friendly and helpful. plenty of parking on the property. we highly recommend Avondale. 」

「Lovely Victorian home, very clean and wonderful service. Breakfasts were exceptional! The only drawback was we could not have a room with 2 beds so someone had to sleep on pull out which she said was not very comfortable. Overall a wonderful stay!」

「The hotel is really old, which probably explains the poor soundproofing. The bedding was also super uncomfortable, so I didn’t sleep well at all. Worse, I woke up with red rashes all over my body. Compared to other hotels nearby, this place is just not worth the price. Definitely wouldn’t recommend it. 」

「The staff was very helpful and friendly! The room was very small! A few things didn’t work but they sent a maintenance man quickly. Room definitely needed better lighting and some outlets. No views from our windows. Very unappealing. Breakfast was very simple, nothing fancy or special. It was fine. Location is great! We walked everywhere. We had a great time, just spent very little time in the actual bandb.」
