“We were very pleased and happy with the home. There were kyacks and a canoe that we used almost everyday. The grandchildren swam and played in the lake. The road up to the home was 1.9 miles and our daughter ran on it everyday for a total of four miles a day. Quite the workout! The owner supplied plenty of towels, tissues, paper towels dish soap and dishwasher detergent. There also was tide available if you didn’t bring your own. Everything was spotless and well-stocked—from the fully equipped kitchen to the clean, comfortable bathrooms. We also enjoyed relaxing out by the creek. We didn’t spot any white squirrels there but we did see some beautiful hummingbirds. The location was ideal with just a short drive to both downtown Brevard and the Pisgah National Forest.
