With four bedrooms, a well-stocked kitchen and a tranquil alfresco area, Roderick Beach House is the perfect, pet-friendly destination to spend your next vacation.

The Space:
Entering through the front door, your attention will first be caught by the tastefully-designed, open-plan living and dining area. Illuminated by an abundance of natural lighting, this space features a six-seater dining table to accommodate for any home-cooked meals shared with loved ones. Cooking is made simple and easy with a fully-equipped kitchen that is stocked with all the essentials. Just off the dining area is the lounge room with seating for six to kick back, relax and watch a movie on the smart TV. This area is perfect for reading, playing games or just simply lounging about while basking in the company of your beloved family and friends (furry-friends included!). Continue on through the beautiful brick arch and down the hallway to find each of the four bedrooms.

The master bedroom features a comfortable, queen-sized bed.

The second bedroom also features a plush, queen-sized bed.

The third bedroom is perfect for little ones with two single beds, games and puzzles, along with usable skateboard art that you can detach from the wall and use to skate with in the cul-de-sac outside.

Each of these three bedrooms have their own air-conditioning units. The final bedroom doubles as a seperate living space with its comfortable day bed and tasteful interior. Decorated playfully, this day bed converts to a single bed to accomodate an extra guest. This section of the house also features a modern bathroom complete with a bath, shower, large vanity and separate toilet. There is also a laundry room fitted with a washer, dryer and sink. This laundry space features a door that opens out to the side of the house. This side of the house is fully-fenced and extends further to the back of the house where you will find a grassy area perfect for pets. Holiday with peace of mind knowing your furry-friend will be safe and content in this outdoor area.

This outdoor space overlooks the grassy backyard below and the beautiful strip of nature reserve that the home backs onto. Look no further if you’re seeking a secluded stay that will have you wanting to rewind and replay the holiday as soon as it comes to an end. There is an enclosed backyard at the rear of the building off the laundry, if you need to head out and want to keep your pet enclosed.

Guest Access:
Guests will have access to the entire home with further access to a lockup garage that fits 2 cars provides storage for any bikes/surfboards you may bring with you. There is also space to park multiple cars on the driveway along with an abundance of free street parking. Please note the width of the garages is very narrow and will only fit a small hatchback car.

The Neighborhood:
Located at the end of a residential cul-de-sac in Moffat Beach, Roderick Beach House is positioned perfectly for friends and family looking for a beautiful base to explore the absolute best of the Sunshine Coast. This home is secluded and within a few minutes walking distance to local Moffat Beach. Moffat Beach is a great dog beach and point break. The adventurous playground in Moffat is a favourite amongst young ones and the grassy space makes the perfect place for a picnic. While Moffat isn’t a patrolled beach & you’ll need to be wary of the waves, the inlet of Tooway Creek offers family-friendly swimming. Dicky beach is an easy stroll across the sand for patrolled swimming between the flags. All throughout the area you will find upbeat shops and cafes, plenty within walking distance of the house.

Getting Around:
The closest beach (Moffat Beach) is 200m away (6-minute walk) and is great for a beach-walk, surfing, kite surfing or paddle boarding. The home is central to lots of activities and attractions:
Maroochydore airport is a 25-minute drive
- Brisbane airport is a 60-minute drive
- Australia Zoo is a 25-minute drive
- Kawana Shopping World & Cinema is a 15-minute drive
- Large new Sunshine Coast University hospital is a 10-minute drive
- Mooloolaba/ Underwater World (Sea Life) is a 15-minute drive
- Downtown Caloundra is a 5-minute drive
A 30-minute car trip will take you to Maleny, Montville, Kondalilla Waterfalls, or Noosa National Park; the Sunshine Coast has plenty to explore!

Airport shuttles can get you to the home from both Brisbane and Maroochydore. It is possible to get around on the local buses and use coach tours but the immediate area is best explored on foot and it would be preferable to have a car to travel further afield.

*Pet-friendly for dogs, upon application - 2 maximum, a $50 per pet fee applies. Please reach out to us for pre-approval before booking. Please note we do not accept cats.

*No guests under the age of 20 travelling independently, fine if accompanied by family (ie. young adults apart from a family booking is ok.)

*This home is in a residential community with neighbours in close proximity. We have quiet hours on the Sunshine Coast after 9pm. We ask that you also generally respect our neighbours and keep noise to a minimum generally.

*Please note to stay with us you will be required to fill out a check-in form for your stay. This is a requirement of all our guests that stay with us, access to our home will only be provided after the completion of our form.
