Sea Shanty is a nicely furnished and decorated canal home located at the private end of the street. Recently updated with all new appliances, flooring, carpet, and countertops, this home is ready for a relaxing coastal getaway.

The living area features a large 55-inch flat-screen smart TV with whole-house DVR, along with new comfortable furniture. The fully equipped kitchen makes meal prep easy, and each bedroom includes its own TV for convenience. Step outside to enjoy the floating dock, or rinse off after a day on the water in the enclosed hot/cold outdoor shower. For extra entertainment, the home offers a large pinball machine downstairs and a Ms. Pac-Man arcade.

Beach access is just down the street between 915 & 917 OBW.

Beds are made upon arrival—this home comes ready for bed for a stress-free start to your vacation. Bed linens (beds in bedrooms only) are provided for weekly rentals. Towels are not provided but can be rented through Coastal Vacation Resorts.

Outstanding House!

This was the most beautiful home I have ever stayed in with Vrbo. Everything you can ever imagine is there for you. We enjoyed staying in this house so much we did not want to leave. Fantastic location, and unbelievable kitchen. A huge thank you to the owner for sharing your home.

Home away from Home

This house was amazing! It has a great living room area and the kitchen was fully stocked. The grill is a gas grill, so now worries about bringing charcoal. We were also pleasantly surprised with all the board games and family games the drawers were stocked with. We played a game every night after dinner! The beach was just a short walk away. And if that isn't all, they have a mini arcade downstairs with pinball and pacman! The only thing bad about that arcade room was it was super hot! Just want to enjoy a cup of coffee and sit on the back patio? Perfect! The seating out back was great for our family. We just sat and enjoyed being by the waterway and getting to see all the boats go by. This house was truly a home away from home. It was very affordable too. If we go back to Holden, I will be looking for this house again!

Fantastic vacation house

We have been coming to Holden Beach for a really long time but this was our first time staying on a canal so we were a little hesitant at first to give up the ocean view. During Covid we purchased kayaks after talking about it for year so we decided to stay at this property because of the access to the inter coastal from the house's canal dock. I really can't begin to say how much we liked this house. First off it is like staying at someones house in that the interior is really very nice. I am an architect and honestly I'm pretty picky. The furniture, layout, interior design and even the lighting design is really nice. The outdoor spaces are also fantastic. We spent a lot of time on the back deck. The furniture there makes it seem like an outdoor living room. We love to cook and this house is extremely well equipped. The kitchen is also large enough for several people to cook at the same time. The outdoor landscaping is well done and there is actually grass that is nice to walk on. The living room/tv watching area is super comfy as is the carpet throughout. The house was extremely clean when we checked in. There are lots of games and puzzles as well. We wouldn't hesitate at all to stay at this house again.

I wish we could give it 6 stars!

This home was amazing. By far the best rental property my wife and I have ever stayed at. The décor and attention to detail were phenomenal. The dock was great for paddle boarding and kayaking. The game room was great for us almost 50 somethings that grew up on pinball and Pacman. Would love to stay here again!
