Beautiful Place with Gorgeous Views!

This Glacier View cabin is the place to stay while any where near Glacier View, AK. The local host is the BEST one we ever dealt with while booking thru VRBO or Evolve!

Incredible spot

What an amazing place to stay. The pictures do not do it justice - the views are out of this world. We loved being here for a long weekend, hiking in the area, and taking it all in. The cabin is as described in the listing f. Very highly recommend this place!

Great views . A vacation within a vacation. A fully stocked and functional kitchen. We bought breakfast and snack foods from Palmer and was just fine. There are also three restaurants within a ten mile radius of the cabin which offer a full menu. Activities in the area include glacier hiking and white water rafting. Our best memory of the cabin is just sitting in the living room and just gazing at the glacier and surrounding mountains. It was a great place to unwind. Would go back at a moments notice.

we loved our stay, and enjoyed the amazing view. It was nice being so close to the glacier. We took a tour on it, and would recommended that to anyone. Well worth the money. I would have given 5 stars if it weren't for a couple things. I could have been cleaned better. We found trash under both of the beds we were using. And other places could have been cleaner as well. Over all the cleanliness wasn't that bad though. I was very surprised that we only had less than one roll of toilet paper for 4 people for a two nights stay (I assume it was an oversight). I sent a message about it and received no response, and no toilet paper. good thing there were some Kleenex. A response of any kind would have been appreciated.

Awesome Glacier House half way to Glennallen a d Palmer

This house has the Million Dollar view! It was out of this world! Fall was in full swing. We got groceries in Palmer and drove an hour to the house. We cooked everyday. House is well stocked...great pans, knives, Knife sharpener and crockpot. We drove to Valdez saw Bridal Vail Falls, Horse Tail Falls, saw black bears, eagles, salmon spawning, seals one day. We drove to Palmer to ATV the Knik Glacier! The bathroom is big. The only thing I would change is to have a bathroom downstairs...but it was still worth it. Also I had messaged the owner with a question in January and didn't get an answer until March. This property is managed by Evolve...and I think that was the disconnect. Once they answered then they did stay engaged. A week before our trip in September Evolve assigned a property hostess...she was available for all our questions. The directions to the house are confusing. They read to watch for the blue stick...I am from Texas and we actually have sticks. The only blue anything we saw was a blue metal highway marker. The better landmark would be MICA adventure sign. We turned around several times and finally called the hostess to say we were lost. Once you figure out the entrance it's good. I would love to take my entire family and stay here again! PS...no salt shaker...they have salt just no shaker...

Awesome View

The Million Dollar view secluded in a mountain Valley! The only thing that would have made this perfect would have been 2 bathrooms...one downstairs. It was very comfortable cabin. Lots of light. Nice kitchen that faces the Chugach Mountain Range and then there is that huge Glacier I think it is called the Matanuska Glacier in the valley. We cooked breakfast and went out for excursions while dinner was cooking in the crockpot. We drove to Valdez an almost 4 hour beautiful mountainous drive with beautiful peaks of Wrangell-St. Elias Range and National Park. More glaciers and Bridal Vail Falls, Horse Tail Falls...and then Eagles, bears, seals and sea lions in Valdez. We went to the museum in Valdez for local. Great day trip. We bought our groceries in Palmer!

Incredible views

Our family of 5 spent two nights at the cabin. The view from the dining table, living area and patio is absolutely incredible. I have never stayed anywhere with such an amazing view. We loved the house!

Breathtaking!

Myself and 4 other guys stayed here for a bachelor party. I can't put into words what a beautiful view this cabin has of the mountains and glacier! Good living space on both floors, and a very nice deck. The property manager had great communication, and even went above and beyond by leaving us some breakfast essentials for our stay. Whenever I return to Alaska, I plan on booking this cabin again!

Incredible View, Excellent Accommodations

We stayed here for 3 days and it was great. The view is just as the picture shows. And the view from the deck is just the same. We went for a hike on the Glacier and saw dall sheep on Sheep Mountain just a short drive away. If you can book this place for a couple of days during your trip, it is well worth it.

We travelled to Alaska in mid-October. As first-timers, we were unsure of weather/travel, but had an amazing week. Everything about our trip to Glacier View was perfect. Host, Delaney, sent great directions for arrival and was readily available for any issues/needs. Our 4wd gave us peace of mind, but thankfully we didn’t need it, as the weather was gorgeous. The drive from Anchorage is exquisite, especially the stretch from Palmer. Just when we thought it couldn’t get better, we walked into the cabin and saw the view of Matanuska Glacier! The cabin was very well stocked (seriously the best we’ve ever had!) and everything was very tidy. You can tell the cabin is loved. Plenty of adventures in the surrounding areas, but also a perfect place to just hole up, read, play games, and relax. I hope we will be back to stay!

Exceeded Expectations

From start to finish, communication was friendly and helpful. The house and views were even more breathtaking than we could have imagined. The location of the property was excellent and everything at the house was so clean and well maintained.

Excellent again!

We stayed here in August 2019 and we came back to the same cabin on our 2021 visit! That says it all. We had perfect, crystal clear days (2), and 2 snowy days! Loved it all. 2 inches of snow at the cabin. Went for a hike at Sheep Mountain and walked through 20” on powder!! Only 10 miles away. It was magical! We will be back!
