We had the Autumn room which has a nice large veranda with a view of the Elk River. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful all the time. Our stay was wonderful and we will stay there again when in the area.

Location and views were great; Friendly staff, rooms were clean, both had coffee makers and mini fridge ~ Breakfast in the main house was excellent. We had a dome and stayed in the Song Bird suite, Each space has a private balcony to take in the views of the river, 10 out of 10 I would stay again.

I had a wonderful stay! The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and the hospitality was excellent. Breakfast was a definite highlight! It was the perfect way to start the day. I really enjoyed my visit and would happily stay here again. Highly recommend!

A sweet spot on the river of an old downtown. We enjoyed glamping in the well-appointed Sycamore tent, and the hosts made a lovely omelette breakfast. We spent the day railbiking at Elk River Rail and an ATV tour with Middleton. It was our first time to West Virginia and we had a great time.

Very clean comfortable stay overnight. The bed was very comfortable and host were very nice. My dog also loved the stay. Hopefully we can stay again next year for the Glenville State college wrestling open. My son won the 184 weight class. Great weekend with a great place to stay. Thank you

We loved the historic victorian oak home. Dark inside, but that's the vibe. Staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful. Neighborhood residential & safe, easy on-street parking. the homemade breakfast superb. Come here, if you can.

Two adults and one child. Absolutely fabulous stay! We only booked one night, and honestly, we regret not staying longer! The room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, and the river view was absolutely perfect. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming, and the food was delicious! Everything made for such a relaxing and enjoyable experience. We loved our stay so much that we’re already planning a return trip. Next time, we’ll definitely be staying longer! Highly recommend!

Stayed in one of the glamping domes at the Elk River Hotel and it was perfect! Came to the area for a marathon and it was the perfect little spot for an overnight stay. Wish we could’ve spent more time honestly. It was very clean, the AC worked great, and the rain sounded so nice at night. The woman who checked us in was so NICE! And she even coordinated with a friend of mine to stock my room with some marathon treats and gifts as a sweet surprise for me! So I hope you see this and know how much I appreciate you!

The property was warm and charming, and the host was absolutely wonderful! She went above and beyond for our stay and Franscisco made us breakfast the morning of our checkout and it was delicious! You couldn't ask for a nicer staff!! She even brought out the big TV and let us watch the OSU game in the lobby so that we didn't have to sit in our room to watch the game. I just can't say enough about how kind and generous the staff was!! The only issue that we had was the glamping dome that we stayed in. The mildew smell hit you right when you walked in the door and we eventually got used to it, but we did have to run the dehumidifier and air conditioner just to help dissipate it a little bit. We wish the deck would have been blown off as well since we tracked quite a few pine needles into the room, so we had to leave our shoes on for most of our stay. We would definitely stay at the property again however; we would probably stay in one of the rooms inside the Inn versus one of the domes. The town was having their trick or treat so it was a joy to see the kids and parents walking around dressed up and enjoying themselves.

Although they were a little shorthanded when we were there, the staff went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly for us. The gentleman who made us breakfast was not only a great cook, but was super friendly. This is a great spot to stay, and in this small town is worth supporting

Staff was super friendly. The free hot breakfast was nice, they also had free snacks. The public areas they have are cute and charming with pretty views of the river. Unfortunately the room was kind of gross, lots of dust and some mold in the bathroom. The half the pillows on the bed smelled so musty that we had to throw them on the floor.

Beautiful location, beautiful dome and amazing service. We really enjoyed our stay and appreciate the wonderful hospitality, especially of the gentleman who cooked breakfast for us and checked us in. He was great. Would love to come back to West Virginia and stay in your cramping dome again.

What a cool experience sleeping in the Glamping Dome! The room was clean and spacious, and the a/c kept it nice and cool. Hearing the rain hitting the dome at night was nice and relaxing and the gentleman who took us to our room was very nice.
