Room was filthy, dead bugs in the bed, cobwebs everywhere, filthy tile in the bathroom water damage and black mold in the bathroom along with rotting baseboards. The ac filter was dirty and the whole room had a musty smell. All that being said the staff was super friendly and pleasant.

The location was great and was the reason we selected this motel. The property was very dated but clean. Our room had 2 queen beds, a full- sized fridge, little table and 2 chairs. It was an up north Michigan experience! The check-in instructions from Expedia said I'd receive an email before check-in. That didn't come so I called the motel directly and was told they aren't able to gain access to contact info through 3rd party sites. Check-in & check-out was very easy though.

Enjoyed our stay. Loved the location. Right across the street is a view of the lake. The rooms need a deep clean. Above my head in the bed were cob webs and when entering the room you are meet with a must/mold smell. We stayed for three nights and we were only given 2-3 large towels. I also don’t like the fact that they trust the people who are renting the rooms to wash the dishes thoroughly. I really hope that they wash them again after check out. I know I wash my dishes good but I don’t trust other people. I would trust the hotel staff more.

Room 1 is too noisy and too much traffic light overnight. The room had a faucet leak that couldn’t be fixed. Overall clean and functional for the price. We like to stay there but room 1 won’t be a room we recommend staying in.

It needs updating Not a good place to plug in a curling iron with a mirror to curl hair and put on makeup, mirror in bathroom was at the side of the sink and counter so you had to wrench your neck sideways to see. Sheets, pillows and blankets were a little sketchy, we didn’t trust them well to be cozy in bed. Cigarette burn holes in one of the blankets. We went out bought our own pillow, pillow case and blanket. Small fridge froze all our drinks and food we put in it. Probably won’t stay here again.

We enjoyed this pet friendly vacation, conveniently located 15 miles north of traverse city and just down the road from Downtown Suttons Bay. Easy to book and owners are on the property - quiet and friendly!

Loved the contactless check-in/check-out! Exactly what we needed for the tail end of our trip--just a comfortable bed in a clean room near everything we wanted to see! Plenty of space for everything we'd accumulated and super easy to get to!

It was really good for what it was. It was a motel that gave my sister and I a couple of nights of sleep while we played in the area. It was simple but comfortable and I would go back.

Old motel charging resort like rates.No one on site.Needed clean towels and didn't get them for two hours.This is a $60 motel at best.Sink barely drained.Toilet ran unless I jiggled the handle. This place should be leveled and a nice new quality hotel built. Great location.
