This was my first visit back to Swanage since loving coming here as a child. Although only staying one night, I not only enjoyed the nostalgia of the return but was very taken with the picturesque setting, the cleanliness and peaceful feel.

Lovely restaurants and pubs. Always need to visit the Bankes Arms at Studland, and the Shell Bay restaurant is superb.
Lovely beach, lots of local hostileries and chippies, sea clean, sand free of rubbish.
