Great stay!

We had a great time - plenty of space for everyone and great response from host with any questions. The view is breathtaking. We were fascinated by the frog pond and number of frogs :) Hot tub and game room were great and easy access to some hiking nearby. Overall - great trip!

Fantastic house for large group

We just spent a long weekend at Skyridge Villa and the house was perfect for our large group. We had 6 adult couples and 2 extras and there was a ton of room. All of the amenities were exactly as described and everything was in great shape. Julia was extremely helpful with a few questions I had before and during our stay. We will definitely be returning!

Amazing views! Perfect for a friend getaway!!

Absolutely stunning views!! The house was perfect for our party of 11 who were celebrating a 50th bday. The game room, comfy living spaces and hot tub was just what we needed for an enjoyable weekend. Spacious kitchen made meals easy to prep/serve. And loved having enough seats to all enjoy meals together at one table. Would definitely stay again!!

Spectacular home!

The home was wonderful. Well stocked, fresh linens, super fun amenities and tons of room! Only change we’d make is upgrading the 1 bath tub in the house for bathing children.

Great Family Weekend

Wonderful weekend with family! Home was furnished with everything needed to entertain all ages! Loved the fact that a crib and highchair, as well as baby gates, were provided!! Theater room and game room were so much fun. Sauna was next level!

Perfect getaway for our friend reunion

This house was perfect for our 20-year friend reunion! As the reviews say, the path up to the house is up a windy, one lane road, but we knew ahead of time and rented cars. But, the path up to the house makes the views worth it! Some of our crew even saw a bear on the way up. And, the house had many amenities to keep our crew of 11 entertained for hours. I had lots of questions leading up to our trip about the house and Julia was super gracious and responded very quickly. 100% would rebook here if we were to come back to the Asheville area.

Can't beat this place

Me and 11 other guys stayed here for a bachelor party and it was PERFECT! Literally the best rental home I've ever stayed at. This place has everything. A beautiful view of the mountains, some of the best amenities (theater, sauna, arcade games, firepit, etc), comfortable beds, and enough space for everyone. On top of that, the management team was incredible. They were quick to respond to texts, helpful when I had issues, and provided a digital guidebook that was thorough, easy to read, and very useful. And as a little cherry on top, they provided stuff for s'mores and popcorn/candy in the theater. It is a bit off the beaten path, but it's honestly worth it. If I'm ever looking for a place in Asheville again, I'm definitely checking to see if this property is available first.

Beautiful Property

Our extended family of nine stayed for a lovely week in this lovely home in Swannanoa. The bedrooms were spacious and well appointed. The kitchen is a cooks delight - we all take turns cooking for each other and the kitchen was huge with everything we needed to cook for our large family gathering. We were visited by a family of large black bears, a very curious racoon (who appeared on the back porch and really wanted to come inside!), and some deer. We took lots of photos of the wildlife! The sauna, steam room and massage tables were used. We highly recommend Beth Huntzinger for coming up to the house for therapeutic massage therapy! The carport was great to play ping pong and darts in the evenings!! The road up to the house was a little daunting at first - we did not want to meet up with any cars on the road as it is very narrow climbing up the mountain. Fortunately there are very few houses up there! Julia is an amazing host and answered all of our questions very quickly. Its a great house for a large group with a wide variety of activities to do while you are there.

If you’re looking for a place to rent with beautiful mountain views, this is it! The spacious decks were great to hang out on all times of day or night. The adults loved the sauna, steam room and hot tub. The kiddos loved the game room and theatre. The entire home was immaculately clean! We shared big family meals at the dining table and could scatter among living areas for tv watching or relaxing time. We plan to return again next year!

Excellent Mountain Get-Away

We had a fantastic time at the property for a weekend trip with 14 people. The check-in was simple, contact with the property manager was phenomenal, and the property itself provided everything we needed for the weekend. Several small details such as available coffee options, towels and other linens, and miscellaneous supplies for the grill, fire pit, and other items all made the stay easy. Not to forget, the views of the surrounding area were amazing. We would absolutely return if given the chance.

Amazing home!

We had a wonderful visit at this house! It is well maintained and the communication with Julia was very reponsive if we had an issue. We did see two of NC's elusive white squirrels coming up and down the road. Great long weekend!!

Amenities galore and a great view from deck

6 friends from my grade-school/college days agreed to let me host our yearly reunion. We spent a lot of time on the back decks (two levels of decks), just enjoying the fantastic weather. We comfortably ate a couple of meals on the upper deck using the provided tables and chairs. We made use of the pool and ping-pong tables in the carport as well as the video games and foosball table in the other game room (yes, there really are two game areas). We easily made meals in the large and well equipped kitchen and even watched a movie in the theater. On our last night, we loaded up the fire pit and communed. Such fun.

I love this house and we cannot wait to come back! The rooms are exactly as pictured but even better. The movie theater room is top notch. The kitchen is huge and we loved hanging out here. The view, porches, etc were gorgeous. We kept finding bedrooms, there is no shortage of this and every room is so comfortable with everything you need. My kids (12 and 16) squealed when we entered the house. They loved everything about this house, all the amenities and the space they had to spread out. The adults loved this house just as much. The living area was probably our least favorite (not very comfortable furniture) however, this was not a room we hung out in anyway. We stuck to the kitchen, dining area, game areas, and porches. We never got to enjoy the outdoor fireplace that is located in the yard of the property b/c we were afraid of bears (saw some on the way up). I am sure it would have been fine but we stayed busy. You could bring multiple families here, the house goes from the top down and so much room on every floor to spread out and have your own space/privacy. THIS HOUSE HAS IT ALL!!!!! It was also so convenient to nearby Asheville and Black Mountain, and we ventured out to both. Highly recommend!!! We will be back.

Beautiful Seclusion

This amazing property sits on top of the world. We enjoyed the sweeping sunrise views each morning and the twinkling lights below from the hot tub at night. The classic arcade was fun for all ages, the adults played more skeeball than the kids :P. The neon lights mixed with a roaring fire made cocktail hour fun. All the beds were comfy and the kids had a blast in the bunkbed room. The sauna was nice to relax and cleanse each morning. We spent most of our meals cooking in the large kitchen and grilling on the deck, but drove to Black Mountain for one meal and over to Asheville another day. Thanks so much to the wonderful hosts, we will definitely be back

Amazing place

This property was amazing. You are truly isolated on the mountain so it's very peaceful, quiet and private. The views are incredible and the house has everything you could want. Would strongly recommend staying here with a large group! Julia is an excellent host.

Great views, rough road

The property was as advertised, great location for an extended family vacation. The only downside was the condition of the road leading to the property. If you want to vacation on a mountain top (views were beautiful), one would expect a bit of a climb. Portions of the road were smooth, but significant stretches were badly potholed which made going very slow.
