Not as Advertised

The posting for this home was misleading. It appears the two units are connected by a stair case but they are not. They are completely separate units. It took us over three hours to get in the upper unit which had enough sleeping for our family of 5. There wasn’t enough bedding for the inflatable mattress or cot. There are also several other buildings on the property. The unit was clean. It was near Black Mountain’s downtown which was great. It is also right next to a main highway and a train track (this was a plus for our four year old) but there was a lot of noise from the highway and the traintracks.

The house was convenient to Warren Wilson college where we were attending our niece's graduation. The house was in very good shape and had everything we needed.

Great house!

We rented both the upstairs and downstairs unit. This gave us privacy and plenty of room to spread out when traveling with friends. Both units were very well-appointed with new furnishings and modern decor. Location was excellent - 15 minutes to downtown Asheville, plus only 5 minutes to cute downtown Black Mountain, with easy highway access. We had some inclement weather and were glad not to have to deal with curvy mountain roads to get to and from the house. We would definitely rent this house again!
