Wonderful week on the lake. The only problem was the dishwasher did not work and after I called to have the matter fixed, I was told someone would be out to fix it. That never happened.

Happy Times needs work

My wife and I and 2 friends went to Deep Creek as neither of us had ever been there. Both couples were from OH and thought we would give it a shot. My friends had a 4wd truck and I had a front driven Van. My comments are as follows: 1.) Communication with Railey was exceptional. They were very cooperative and helpful. 2.) Hot tub was clean and useable. 3.) Carpeting needs some work and would suggest a deep clean and new replacement as this property must be used alot. 4.) The driveway was a disaster. They say a 4wd is needed from Nov-Mar, in reality it should be year round. Because of the gravel and steepness and turns of the driveway it requires a 4wd year round. 5.) Also the path from the house to the water/dock is very steep and treacherous. The few steps(rocks) that were available loose and unstable anyone to maneuver, let alone older persons. I would recommend not renting this place to older persons. Lastly, I haven't given up on visiting Deep Creek but I will do more research and ask for more visuals of the property to validate the condition.

Great Stay!

The cabin had everything we needed for an enjoyable family getaway. We may come back in the summer months to enjoy the lake a bit more, however, the view was gorgeous.
