With king, full, and queen beds in the bedrooms, guests will have a phenomenal night's sleep. The 2 bathrooms offer a bathtub, bidet, and showers. Home has been recently renovated and includes new flooring throughout, refinished deck, and upgrades to water filtration and electrical systems. Dusty, musty, crusty. This vacation home was NOT for us. I would not recommend if you are looking for a clean and well maintained place to enjoy a lake vacation. When we arrived to front door was unlocked, the first thing we noticed when walking inside was the smell. It was evident that there was mold and poor air quality in the musty basement and the humidity on the first floor was unbearable. There was mouse poop on the table, no toilet paper on the roll and every surface in the house was dirty. There were cobwebs everywhere, ants crawling on the stovetop and dead bugs in the bathtub. Nothing about this place felt inviting or safe. Needless to say we did not choose to stay. When bringing these things to the host’s attention, it felt argumentative and my concerns were invalidated and dismissed. Save your money, find some where else to stay.

Dear Bethany,I am sending this after staying in your VRBO for 2 of the 3 nights, roughing it, as we joked about how similar it was to our previous camping in a tent days. You had requested feedback, and, although I wanted to send wonderful feedback, I am unfortunately unable to send a glowing report.On the positive side, your property has beautiful views, and we enjoyed sitting on the deck with them as the backdrop. And, although the windows in the house were perfect to see the view from, some of them were difficult to open. There were ample rolls of toilet paper and towels for showers, as well as well made beds.Unfortunately, there were more negatives than positives. Firstly, you had been pleasant enough to message me that you would clean the kitchen thoroughly in preparation for my daughter’s gluten allergy. Unfortunately, the kitchen had not been cleaned at all. The range was filthy (so much so that one of the burners smoked upon turning on), the fridge had not been wiped down, and the dishes and pots in the cabinet were filthy. The brita water dispenser had mold inside it, and the paper plates had stuff that resembled mouse poop on them. And there is an ant problem. Once or twice a day hundreds of ants would appear on the kitchen floor between the fridge and the stove and there were dead bugs on the cabinet in the bathroom.I am sending this message of feedback as requested. -Donna McDonald
