Great cabin and location

The cabin is located in a secluded area but very close to everything. The grounds are great and the property is very nice. The smell people had mention in previous comments is dampness in the finished basement

Family Get together

House was well stocked with everything we needed for a long weekend. The check in process was easy and we were thrilled when we got a text that the house was ready if we wanted to check in earlier than the 4:00 check in. Very comfortable beds. All around nice house! We will definitely keep it in mind for future visits!

Spring break at Deep Creek

Vacasa is my go to for planning vacation. They have properties in so many locations and prices for all budgets. Booking is a very simple, and sometimes you may even get early check-in. This was my third stay at Deep Creek with Vacasa and its been great every time!

Weekend retreat

Very welcoming cabin in the woods. Had deer visitors all weekend. Coffee maker a little rusty and living room furniture needs an upgrade. Would encourage everyone to visit!

Wonderful lot & great cabin

The location, the lot, and the layout of the cabin is great. The cabin needs a little TLC (living room couch and loveseat need to be replaced, the upstairs shower needs a good cleaning, and the wicker furniture on the back porch need to be replaced). The back porch is tranquil and peaceful - listening to nature - feeling the breeze and looking into the woods - make this location great. Would love to rate this place a five, but can't because of the reasons listed.

Nice property in need of a deep clean

The property itself is nice. However the house itself was filthy. I was greeted by cobwebs wrapping around my face when I walked in the door. The main deck was unusable because the grill was covered in dirt and we were not willing to use it. The outdoor furniture was covered in rodent droppings so we couldn't enjoy the listing as advertised. Overall we were disappointed with paying a hefty "cleaning fee" yet the property is not clean for us. Maybe it will be clean for the next person. I guess I pay $150+ for someone to wash a couple of towels and make the bed.

Inaccurate listing.

We arrived to our rental to find there was no A/C. We were there for a youth lacrosse tournament in the middle of a heat wave. Upon calling the property manager, we were informed there was “partial” A/C, and there are window units available in the closets and we would need to place them ourselves. So we stayed up until 1am getting window units placed, one didn’t fit and we had to use cardboard to help it stay in. We made multiple calls to the property manager, and they made many promises that someone would come out and address the window units (we weren’t sure if they were properly placed) but we never saw anyone from the management company. There were cobwebs & spiders throughout the house, small spiders covering two of the downstairs beds rendering them unusable. This was also brought up to the management company and they said someone would be out to address that on day 2 of our stay. When we checked out on day 3, we had yet to see anyone. This home may be different in the winter but we would not stay here again, and will never book a Vacasa managed rental again.
