Beautiful villa with amazing hosts

We stayed here as a group of friends. The villa itself has everything you would need and did not fail to deliver. Rooms are clean and plenty of space throughout. There is so much space outside with the pool area and outside eating/dining areas.Communication with the host was amazing throughout from, from booking to vacating the property.I would and intend to come back again.

Malta 2024

We stayed in the two villas, which were supposed to accommodate more than 10 people, but that was not the case. There were only 3 rooms, the rest were a series of beds and bunk beds, distributed in corridors and kitchens. Only 1 of the rooms was completely free from sunlight, both other rooms and the places where the beds were located made it impossible to sleep as soon as the sun rise. In one of the beds, next to a door, whoever slept there woke up to sunlight and ants on their body. In reality, the two villas were nothing more than the basement of a house, with humidity and sound problems. About the outside, very good, the swimming pool was great, the place for eating outside was also very good. We just leave a tip for the owner, too much furniture and decoration greatly reduces the outdoor space.

Très bon séjour, très bel endroit, locataire au top! Le logement cependant est très humide et la vaisselle manque un peu. Excellent malgré un temps mitigé et venteux.

Les vacances !

Très bon sejour à Malte, la location est bien située sur l'ile ce qui permet de profiter de malte a fond ! Concernant la location, le coin piscine (avec la grotte) est exceptionnel, les photos sont vraiment représentatives, et l'extérieur avec les bassins a poissons, les tortues, les bananiers plamiers etc... sont top! Pour ce qui est des appartements, il ne sont pas exceptionnel mais on profite avant tout de l'infrastructure. Nous avons eu dans un appartement beaucoup d'humidité du a des précipitations hors normes sur malte en mois. Cela nous a pas empecher de passer de tres bonnes vacances. (Paul a meme fait un geste commercial appréciable) Pour ce qui est de Paul justement, tres agréable et tres disponible, on a été tres bien reçu. Pour résumer je recommande ! Passer des vacances en short tong a 27 degrés avec un ciel bleu alors qu'en france il faisait 12 degrés avec de la pluie c'etait quand meme tres sympa 😁😁😁

Really nice stay

We had a really good time there !! We were a group of 16ppl, Paul has been so helpful from the moment we made the reservation til the moment we left, even with COVID context!! We had the 3 apartments for our our group and the full access to the poil and the terrace and garden. Paul is living in the house in front of the pool but has been very discreet and available anytime de needed. He was been very kind all the time. The beds were comfy, the 4/5 bathrooms very useful when you are a big group but the best part is definitely the pool area!! As beautiful as it appears on the pictures :) Thanks a lot again !!

Our stay at Colours was a dream!

We couldn't find a fault with anything, it's even more magical than the pictures project . From start to finish the owners, Paul and Josanne were more than nice and welcoming to us and there was nothing they couldn't help us with. A party of 12 of us had the entire place to ourselves and the children were kept well amaued at the pool area which is amazing! I would highly recommend staying at Colours and I hope some day to go back. Just perfect thanks Paul and Josanne and your son for everything x Matina, Paul and family from Ireland

Malta ist auf jeden Fall ein Ziel wert, eine wunderschöne Insel

Die Vermieter waren sehr nett, haben uns viele Informationen zu kommen lassen und standen uns immer zur Verfügung, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Zu den Wohnungen sollte man wissen, dass der maltesische Standard nicht dem deutschen Standard gleicht, d.h. Die Wohnungen befinden sich im Kellergeschoss, daher auch schlechte Lüftungsmöglichkeit sowie schlechtes Licht. Sie sind von der Einrichtung sehr spärlich gehalten und sehen schon sehr verwohnt aus. Wer allerdings nur zum schlafen das Haus nutzen möchte, dafür reicht es. Die Außenanlage ist dafür umso schöner, attraktiver und einladend eingerichtet. Wenn das Wetter mitspielt, kann man dort schöne Stunden verbringen. Da wir viel von Malta sehen wollten und das Wetter nicht für die Poolanlage geeignet war, konnten wir diesen leider nicht nutzen.

Well suitable for larger groups, kids loved it

We were a group of three families, six adults and five children aged from 6 to 10. For us it was ideal deal to rent all three apartments of the villa. It was great to hang out and dine together at the pool area, but it was also convenient to be able to cook and rest in the privacy of the separate apartments every now and then. The pool area had many cozy lounge areas here and there, but it could have felt a bit too crowded had there been some other peace and privacy loving guests instead of friends and family. The pool itself was fantastic according to the children. Us adults enjoyed it very much as well although the water was a bit chilly since the weather was not that hot in October anymore. Also the water was in need of a little cleaning. In the evening the illuminated pool area was very pretty. The apartments had reasonably well equipped kitchens and washing machines which was convenient with the children. The bathroom of the sky blue apartment was roomy, but the ones in the yellow and orange apartments were on the small side. The orange apartment is probably more suitable for a couple than a family of four. It would have been possible to unite the blue and orange apartments by opening a communicating door. The air inside the apartments got a little stuffy at times probably due to the moist weather and the fact that the apartments were on the ground/basement level. The surrounding area in Madliena was very peaceful and had lots of beautiful houses and gardens. The restaurants and grocery stores were a bit further away down the hill, but many stores and restaurants offer free home delivery. We also made many trips to the stores by foot and carried our food and water bottles in our backpacks up the hill for a fun and very effective exercise. The hosts, Paul and Josanne, were very helpful and flexible in adjusting to our timetable (our flight arrived very early but we were allowed to check in whilst some of the apartments were still being cleaned). We got great tips for day trips and help in organizing a minibus to take us around the islands. The hosts were very discreet and we hardly even noticed they were there but help was always quickly available when needed. Paul and Josanne were also very patient and friendly although the kids got quite lively at times. We think that the description of the Colours apartments by the owners is realistic and our expectations were met or even exceeded. We would recommend the apartments especially for larger groups.

What can I say? Our stay at the sky blue apartment was amazing. The accomodation was clean and well presented with a pool area that really is an oasis. The place looks just as good in reality as does in the pictures. Paul and Josanne are two of the most friendly and accomodating people you could wish to meet. They are very welcoming and attentive yet they are never imposing and your privacy is always respected. Nothing is too much trouble and they will always go out of their way to make sure your stay is as comfortable and stress free as possible. I have visited Malta many times and I can safely say we will definitely be staying here again, you really do get the personal touch. Kristian & Megan

This place is perfect for a large group looking .

The pool area is a little paradise away from the towns and busy areas. Car hire is recommended but the bus stop is only a short walk from the apartment and taxis can be ordered from the owners or online. The owners are a delightful couple and were very helpful during our stay. The rooms are clean with plenty of space. We were a group of 9 and didn't even use all the beds and extra beds can be provided. Everyone was very happy with the apartments and would definitely stay here again if returning to Malta.

Our stay at this villa was well beyond what was expected. A truly lovely place to to stay. All we needed was there, and the rest. Any queries we had were quickly answered by the lovely couple who own the villa. Even when one of our group had a bad injury they drove her to A&E and waited for her. Accomadation was great, and a charming area to swim, BBQ, party and relax in. I would definetly go back here again! An overall 10/10 stay!

wonderful and well kept, it made the holiday.

Paul and josanne were the upmost wonderful hosts, they put up with a group of 10 Scottish friends, they must be super hosts. the villa itself was homely and well maintained. the outside area where we spent most of our time as it was the most beautiful garden and pool area, was well maintained, clean and full of fun structures. we dined outside using there stone bbq and sat in the gazebo with a lovely view of the pool and waterfall which leads to a hidden cove Jacuzzi bath. they were the pleasant couple who even put up with us for a meal which was cooked by us so they are brave to have even ate it. it was honestly one of the best vacations I have been on, and it had a huge amount to do with paul and josanne. I cant wait to get back to malta and play again in the sun and the pool and maybe have another trip to best ice cream shop ever with the two of them. huge thanks to the two of them. Cheryl.

Great stay in Malta

We were a group of 14 spanish people. When we arrived Paul and his wife were waitting for us in the house. They were so kind with us. The first day Paul took us to the city center and he helped us to look for some interesting places to visit there. He also helped us to print our tikets. I can´t say anything bad about them, they were very good people. The colours apartments were very well and they had all the facilities we needed. We spent good moments in the swimming pool and with the BBQ. The house is just like the photos (or even better). All nights we went to party by taxi but they were not very expensive. I recommend everyone to stay here.

Amazing garden, cosy apartments. Very nice stay

We had an amazing time in Malta. We were with a group of 13 and stayed with Paul and Josanne for 8 days. During the day we mostly enjoyed the amazing garden or we took a trip to a beach or a city. Paul is very helpful with ordering things like a trip to Blue Lagoon (very nice beach) or a taxi or even food. But just laying at the poolside is also very enjoyable. Partying in Malta is also not a problem. Beforehand, we were a bit dubious if we could enjoy the nightlife in Malta. But as a group of young Dutch students we have had the time of our lives! Nice clubs and a lot of places where you can get cheap drinks. We highly suggest Footloose in st. Julians! Thus overall we are very positive about our stay. The apartments were clean and Paul and Josanne made us immediately feel comfortable.

Ensemble décevant . Après notre arrivée à la soit disant villa , nous nous apercevons que nous devons loger dans le sous sol lugubre des propriétaires qui est en fait chez eux: ils sont présents durant toute la durée du séjour . Le sous sol est quasi inhabitable : très peu d'aérations prévues , très sombre, chambres sans fenêtres , climatisation non abordable, humidité , matériel dégradé (sommier, ventilateur, tuyoterie, équipement parfois enexistant, hygiène douteuse) . Nous étions 13 avec un très petit espace pour vivre . Cependant le cadre extérieur , jardin et piscine étaient magnifiques et agréables. Nous avons le sentiment d'avoir été victime d'une escroquerie , car l'annonce ne reflète pas la réalité, de nombreux points n'ont pas été stipulés . De plus, le propriétaire n'est pas du tout conciliant, je déconseille fortement.
