"Thanks to Anne and Mark for a wonderful stay. We had a lovely welcome from Anne who got in touch before we arrived. We had a gorgeous room with stunning decor and modern facilities. The shower room was stunning, the AC was very effective, the bed was super comfy and there was a Nespresso machine 😃 The location is very central in the charming old town with quirky shops and bars plus close to the expansive beach for entertainment and glorious sunsets. "The stay is brilliant - waking up with the lions roaring and even going throughout the night (which did scare our 2yo!) was amazing. we would definitely upgrade to a lodge where you get a golf buggy next time as the zoo is difficult to get round on foot as it’s so hilly. Also the sofa bed which is the double bed (alongside 2 singles) is unbelievably uncomfortable - I’m talking the worst nights sleep on a rock hard surface! The pod is also tiny so it is a tight squeeze and the sofa bed once...

"We had a very comfortable stay at Kingsdown. The house was well equipped with the basics. Finding the holiday park was difficult - we passed it a few times before a local showed us the way in! If possible drive through deal to get there instead of the narrow road through Kingsdown. Host was super responsive and helpful! "

"Overall good with one caveat and a slight disappointment. The house was very comfortable to live in for a week, very well equipped, lovely lounge, comfortable kitchen, conservatory and outside space for all the family. The one issue for us were the quality of the mattresses. The upstairs main bedroom was way too soft,and the downstairs front bed also too soft. The other issue, not to do with the property was there was a warning on the beach not to go into the water because of poor water...

"The property was delightful and beautifully decorated. There was a problem with parking and we were blocked in on many days. There were builders with two vans nearly every day we were there which meant that other occupants of the other cottages had to park where they could which caused the problems we had."

"11 of us went to The Chapel for the weekend. Suzanne was incredibly welcoming, taking the time to show us around the property and give us an overview of its facinating history. She was extremely kind and accomodating to all our questions throughout the weekend. We had a small problem with one of the activities we had organised that didn't quite work out (that was not to do with the property) and Suzanne and George went out of their way to help us with an alternative to ensure that the weekend...

"Tina was a perfect host and dealt with any queries immediately. The bungalow is fantastic and we loved the decor. We really enjoyed the little extras such as the giant chess and retro games tablen and were grateful for the cupcakes and seed bombs on arrival. I highly recommended this property and would happily stay there again."

"This tasteful and well appointed chalet with great facilities is very close to the seafront, which you reach through a nice back garden. Swimming here was great as the shelf is quite steep so you get a good amount of time either side of high tide. The place itself is a pleasure to stay in and we can't wait to come again."
