“The Trail Inn was cute and charming right in the center of amana. You could walk to all the shops and restaurants near by to the cutest German stores. The rooms were clean and well kept and staff was attentive if there were any questions.”

“I always enjoy staying at hotel Millwork- centrally located, unique transformation of an old woolen mill into a modern hotel. This stay was overall good. 4/5 only because they’re one option for breakfast, which is their restaurant, was not operational the morning I left because apparently the waitress didn’t show up. There were very few other options in the Amana‘s for breakfast and the staff really had no solution to the problem. Otherwise, a good stay.”

“Rooms were clean the bed was very comfortable. Indoor pool was very nice. Traveled with my dog and there was a really nice area for me to walk him.”

“Easy and fast check in and check out. We were passing by the hotel on our way to the event we were in town for and stopped to see if we were able to check in 2 hours early. The staff said our room was available. This was a very big help for my family and greatly appreciated. Breakfast was simple but all items were good quality. Easy check out at 6:00 am.”

“The place was beautiful the owners were so nice and amazing. We spent the weekend between Amana Colonies and Iowa City. It was close to all the places we wanted to go and visit. I will defently stay there again if I am back in Iowa. ”

“The room had a smell to it, not a bad smell but, not a good smell either. I was not able to adjust the thermostat for the a/c. To raise the temperature because it was too cold the heat would come on. The exterior back door to the parking lot did not lock. The room was not like the picture on line. The bathroom was half painted. Not enough seating for breakfast.”

“Warm and welcoming. Fresh colors, delightful breakfast and space to do laundry.”

“Had to help ourselves to the housekeeper’s cart because we were only provided one bath towel (two if you count the used one hanging on the shower) for four people…needed a fresh bar of soap since we didn’t want to use the one left over from the previous guests. The toilet ran all night. It’s fine if you’re in a pinch to find a room.”
