Architecture Designed Terrace
Summary:
North facing 2 storey terrace house on a quiet residential street in the heart of Surry Hills and within easy walking distance to the centre of Sydney. The house has undergone a complete renovation in 2023 and enjoys natural light throughout thanks to numerous skylights and voids. Well appointed kitchen and high end features throughout.
The Space:
The ground floor has a formal dining area which then connects to the open plan kitchen and sunken lounge via two arch walkways, which features a hidden powder room in between. The kitchen features all new appliances and induction stovetop, wine fridge, integrated fridge and all mod cons. The large leather sunken lounge connects to the private courtyard via large floor to ceiling timber bi-folds. The courtyard itself has large timber gates that provide rear lane access. The kitchen and sunken lounge has concrete flooring that has underfloor heating.
Upstairs is the master bedroom that is north facing and features private access to the terrace veranda, as well as a walk in wardrobe, separate shoe cupboard, ceiling fans and aircon. There is a large bathroom on the second floor, second lounge area, two study nooks (that can enable 2 people to work with a sliding door to offer privacy) with the second bedroom also offering ample cupboard space and ceiling fan.
Sonos sound system throughout, Samsung TV, powerful internet.
Guest Access:
Guests are most welcome to enjoy the property. Due to the open plan nature of the kitchen and sunken lounge with stairs, this house is not suitable for children.
For security purposes, check-in details will be emailed to confirmed guests 2 days before arrival for an easy smooth fast check-in. Kindly make sure you have submitted the security form with all the valid ID's of all adult guests staying so that you receive a seamless check-in experience :)
The Neighborhood:
Surry Hills is one of Sydney's most charming inner-city neighborhoods, with tree-fringed terrace houses, as well as some of the city’s best organic cafés, lively pubs, fashionable wine bars, and hip boutiques can be found here. Within a short walk you can be in the city or in other popular city suburbs including Darlinghurst, Potts Point, Paddington as well as the Botanic Gardens. There's grocers, a large supermarket, bottle shops all within a 10 minute walk or less. Central Station, major bus hubs as well as the light rail are also easily accessible on foot. The property borders both Moore Park and Centennial Park so there is an abundance of open space and sporting areas and very close to the SCG and stadium. Eastern suburb beaches are easily accessed by bus a short trip from Surry Hills.
Getting Around:
Only free two hour on-street parking available.
On street metered parking with multiple spots generally available. Less than 10 minute walk from Central Station and 1 street either side is accessed by major bus routes.
Other Things to Note:
A non-refundable 4.5% fee applies to all payments made by credit or debit card. The service fee is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.
Before check-in, all guests are required to complete a security verification process, which includes uploading a valid photo ID and a selfie to confirm booking details. For the home owners security, only guests who are listed on the security form are allowed access to the property.
Australia is a tropical country, from time to time you may see bugs, spiders and insects, mostly harmless. We don't accept cancellations on the above but are at your disposal should you need any assistance. We regularly fumigate the property to prevent unwanted pests.
There is also a building boom going on through out Sydney we don't refund for construction noise if anything is going on in the neighbourhood however if there is works being done next door or in the same building we will have a note in our summary.
Vaping is strictly prohibited within the unit. Fire detectors are sensitive and may be triggered by vapour. Any fire brigade call-out fees resulting from vaping will be charged to the guest. Lost keys or keys not returned to the lockbox is a call out fee of $350. And $1000 for smoking.
Interaction with Guests:
We give guests full privacy but are most welcome to reach out as needed. Simply send a message via the platform you booked. We are also just a phone call away.
