Dirty, and no accountability.
Where this unit falls short is largely due to its letting agent- MadeComfy, and those that they appoint to clean it.
Retrieved the keys on Thursday from the lockbox, but the door to the unit was left ajar so I let myself in without needing them. Went out for the day on Friday returning at 1530hrs as I had work needing to start at 1600hrs and finish at 1800hrs. The keys that were left in the lock box did not fit the door. Thankfully there was a cleaner there who also unsuccessfully tried the keys, so she called her boss whom said they would be here in “twenty minutes”. MadeComfy themselves could not be contacted. Their number had an automated message with “please try again later”. In trying to reach someone my phone goes flat and my charger is inside the unit. Had to go and buy another. Eventually MadeComfy called at 1655 and I was told “we will be there in 30mins”. He turns up at 1805hrs. At this stage I was fuming as by now the sole purpose of this trip, which cost me over $1000, I now cannot attend as I have two hours of work ahead of me. No apology was offered, his first concern was that I had “damaged the property” as I had removed the screen from the window in an attempt to get in. I said to him to “hurry up and open the f*#cking door”, his response is: “if you like we can cancel the booking and you can find somewhere else to stay”. At 1805 on Friday. Weak as….
Steer clear of this, and any other MadeComfy managed properties.
