Clean and cozy

We felt like home when we stayed at Careel Cottage, the place was nice and clean. Steve (the owner) was very helpful, providing us with useful information to explore the area and giving us early notice when the place was ready to check in. We definitely enjoyed our stay here.

Cosy, warm & practical!

It's a great little cottage, private with a great yard for a dog. There is an awesome space across the road for the kids and dogs to run around.

Cute little cabin

The space was well equipped with plenty to use in the kitchen and lots of extra blankets for warmth. It has a very cosy vibe. Very close to the town centre and main attractions.

Perfect Location for family and pets

We loved this well thought out cottage and the location. Close to the town centre and opposite a beautiful park. The owners were so helpful and provided great service. The cottage has everything you need. We will be booking again this year. We had a great time.

It was a lovely laid out cottage. We loved our 2 nights in it and the outside area was great to have as well. Had every amenity. Close to everything in Katoomba Defiantly recommend.

Three night get away

We stayed here in 2022 for 2 nights and found we needed longer to get away from Sydney, so chose a 3 night stay this weekend. Property has all we needed (and many things we didnt use, but others no doubt will). Far enough away from the main streets, but close enough to walk if you are active enough and a perfect location to venture out to any of the Blue Mountains 'places to see'

Great weekender

Thanks so much for Steve and Sharon for letting us stay at your beautiful property. Our family and fur balls had a great weekend. House was comforting and warm (despite the wintery weather). Had all the perks with the TV entertainment package and our 5yo daughter loved the sofa bed. Close to town and surrounding tourist activities and even the pond and walks around the house were very tranquil. The sports and aquatic centre even proved a bonus to fulfil a few hours. Hope to be back again some time

Katoomba Short stay

Property had everything we needed and more. Steve abd Sharon have really set this place up nicely. Fenced area for our puppy, plus all amenities that we needed. Relatively short (but uphill) walk to the main street of Katoomba, or a 2 minute drive. We could not be happier with the place itself, and the location. We certainly will be looking at this place on our next trip up to the Blue Mountains

Great location, cozy and well equipped

Location of the cottage is really great. Its modern design gives the coziness. I liked there are 2 sofas with one of them is convertible sofa bed to accommodate 6 of us without talking away the comfort of the living room. The kitchen is well equipped with everything for a simple cooking when we don’t feel like dining out. The instant heaters really help in the morning as it was still quite cold. We enjoyed a walk at the little lake opposite the cottage in one of the evenings. It gave a very peaceful feeling with the great sunset. Overall, my family had a great experience staying at the cottage. Everyone including our teenage children enjoyed staying at the cottage. Thanks to Steve and Sharon for their responsiveness on my emails. Oh, almost forgot to mention that the complementary container of candies and chocolates in the fridge makes my children happy too. Thank you 😄
