It's an ok place

The place is ok but we had higher expectations. The location in the upscale neighborhood of Double Bay was the main drag for us to chose this apartment. Two clear positives, the interactions with the hosts were exquisite, always very responsive and ready to help and also, the views from the apartment are outstanding, really beautiful. Onto the could-be-better side, the apartment is a bit outdated and would benefit from an overall refresh. Don't get me wrong, the classic look is charming but it's not just the look, it's just outdated. Location is not as close to downtown Double Bay as we had hoped, it's a 7-10 minutes walk that makes it a bit tricky for families to walk downtown or go catch the ferry.
