About this property

Sweet Juliet, Double Bay

  • What We Love

Sweet Juliet is a three bedroom, two and a half bathroom home over two levels in the heart of Double Bay, Sydney, approached through lush planted gardens, with green-shuttered windows and decorative balconies. It sleeps up to 6 guests across a king bedroom with ensuite and private balcony, a queen bedroom and a bunk room, with a private garden with alfresco dining and BBQ, a traditional fireplace, air conditioning upstairs, ceiling fans and garage parking for 1 car. Double Bay village and the harbour are about a 10 minute walk away.

It suits families (the bunk room is ideal for children), groups of friends, couples wanting a romantic harbourside base, corporate guests needing parking close to the CBD, and longer stays, with a full kitchen, dishwasher and laundry.

    Ground Floor
An arched doorway opens into a grand living and dining room, styled in cappuccino and sage tones with feature columns and a statement iron staircase that wraps around a circular dark timber dining table, perfect for hosting dinners. The separate kitchen has marble benchtops, an oven, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and blender. Relax on the white sofa by the traditional fireplace, or watch a movie on the flatscreen TV with Netflix and streaming services. French doors lead to the garden, with an alfresco dining table and a BBQ. A powder room completes this level.

    Upper Level
The main bedroom is a calm monochrome retreat, with a king bed (which can be set up as two singles on request), traditional white shutters opening onto a boutique balcony with bistro seating, and a modern ensuite. The second bedroom has a queen bed, a dramatic timber headboard, encased lighting and tasteful art. The third bedroom is full of natural light and has a bunk bed with a double below and a single above, perfect for children. The family bathroom on this level has a bath and shower.
