The location of this property is incredible, very very close to the beach which is very handy! The property manager was really easy to get ahold of and was quick to respond when we had an issue with a breaker blowing. The house is not the cleanest unfortunately, the showers and many of the high touch surfaces were visibly not very clean but otherwise it was a great place to stay and is nice and close to everything you need in Sylvan Lake.

The location of this property was perfect.The cleanliness was poor, mold in the showers, bathrooms were not clean.AC on the main floor only, that turned off several times a day, bedrooms on the second level were extremely hot at night. Opened food was left from previous guests.

Good place, unreasonable owner

Place is beautiful and comfortable. Would not recommend because of the owner. A step broke off the bunk bed ladder (as it was being used properly). The owner, Mukul tried charging us 1500 telling me to replace the ENTIRE bunk bed which was 1500. We even offered to come back to Sylvan (from Edmonton) and fix it ourselves or replace the entire ladder itself. He said “management does not approve that.” Would not recommend just because of the owner. Unfortunate as it is a great place.

Good Location

The house was okay but had a smell like smoke and the AC didnt work so that made it uncomfortable. Will look for other places next time. Hope the owner can get those issues sorted.

Lovely house with a great location

Such a lovely house. Lake is just few steps away so kids enjoyed staying in the park/lake. Mike is very accommodating and easy to deal with.

Misleading listing at best

The pictures and listing are not near what this place is like. First of all, we checked in and the house was 35 degrees on the main floor, upstairs was closer to 40. We thought maybe the AC was turned off so went to turn it on, and got nothing. Messaged the property manager and they said they would make a note of it, not send someone to fix it. Thought that was strange so took a walk around the outside, to our astonishment there is no AC in the house at all. We were in a heat wave and a house that advertised AC did not have any. We also found out that we don’t have the whole house, they had renters in the bottom floor of the house as well. So naturally 8 adults conversing in a floor above them caused noise. I emphasize we were in the living room talking. They called the police on us. The police were very friendly and acknowledged that they did not think we were in fact loud but that the number of people above a room like that would likely be the issue. Again misleading listing “the blue house” is in fact two floors only. We could not even sleep in the house at night it was so hot. Some slept outside on the deck, some bailed and drove all the way home. It was extremely disappointing especially for the price they are charging. Stay away from here especially during the summer months.
