"100 year house with modern kitchen, bath, toilet and bed/tatami sleeping area. Clean and cozy with the smell of Hinoki wood making our stay a memorable one."

"I think very few gaijin go this far out. Some of the communication was difficult but the staff tried really hard and we enjoyed the stay
Hard to navigate getting to and from major stations and it snowed one day at end of March
Overall I’m glad we did it for the experience to be immersed in Japanese culture.
