「Hotel I believe is new, so what could be wrong? I have no complaints. It was clean and comfy. If I had to look for issues, I would say use trash can liners. Our bathroom trash can had bio debri plastered to the bottom. I expected Cambria to be more soundproof from neighboring rooms but it wasn’t bad, tolerable. Dish TV was in and out due to wind. Hotel would be my choice next visit to Lake Placid」

「Bathroom sink drained exceptionally slow - sliding door didn’t lock - carpet was vacuumed but could use a good shampooing. Room was way too warm-it was as if the heat was on but no thermostat in the room so we had to sleep with the sliding door open which was very noisy with people next door using very foul language smoking weed on the balcony -coughing and talking extremely loudly. Every time they left their room they slammed the door so hard it shook the building!」

「This place had tons of opportunity but took the cheap option at every turn. Location was great. But management seemed to take the lesser option each time. It says ‘breakfast,’ The breakfast was rather awful. Coffee carafe's were always empty. Even when we brought it to the staffs attention, it wasn't rectified in a timely manner. Breakfast consists of dry cereal, hard boiled eggs, and some toast options. Our room had no deadbolt, it appeared to be ripped off. Sadly, the potential was there, but...

「We arrived about 8:30pm and appreciated the open door and easy check-in. The room and beds were very comfortable. The shower was great too! Being at the end of the hall was nice - more private. Breakfast was amazing. We loved the fresh fruit, homemade blueberry muffins, and fresh bread and oatmeal with toppings. Scrambled eggs and toast too. Very comfy stay. We'll be back! Close to The Adirondacks hikes we'd planned.」
