Lovely views but with a few downsides

This property offers a lovely view of the lake from both the deck and inside the house, making it a highlight. The kitchen is reasonably well-stocked, and all three bedrooms are spacious with super comfy beds.However, there are a few downsides. The property is tired and in need of maintenance both inside and out. On a superficial level, a few hundred bucks at Target and a handyman for a day could fix most of the issues. For example, the cellular blinds in the bedrooms are broken, so you either have to shut out the view or prop them open with sticks.There are also some minor issues with the property. Thin curtains, stained carpets, only one small pillow per person on the bed. The owner or property manager seems to be cutting corners, as there were no paper towels in the kitchen, or scrubber for washing up, and we were only provided with one trash bag for our entire stay.Lastly, while we enjoyed our stay, the ring camera on the deck felt intrusive and prevented us from spending much time outdoors. We would love to return but will compare other properties at this price point very closely before going back unless reviews improve before next summer.

Great house!

We enjoyed our stay. House was clean and amenities were nice. Bathrooms need to be updated but they were clean. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, etc.
