Great place and great stay

This is a great house, in a great location. Beautiful and comfortable and seemed to have every kitchen appliance/tool imaginable. The kayaks and paddle board were great. Beautiful views of the lake and mountains from the house. We had a great time here enjoying the views and getting out on the lake.

GREAT CABIN ON THE WATER

We had everything we needed to make this a comfortable stay for the week. The house could use a little updating but a great value, great location and cute cabin on the lake. The only reason I didnt give it a 5, the beds were uncomfortable, 3 full and queen size have a huge lump through the middle and makes it uncomfortable. Would definitely stay again and recommend, hopefully mattresses will be replaced. LOVELY HOME.

I’m afraid to leave a published recommendation for fear of never being able to book the unit again — it’s a gem. It was so awesome for our specific event. A family celebration of my father‘s 100th birthday. Even though there are lots of steps involved, we were able to navigate them with him so he could enjoy the entire property. It was a memorable and special stay, and we will forever be grateful for the comfort, the accommodations and the location of such a special property. We WILL return 💯

We've stayed in the house previously and it is very comfortable. It would have been more welcoming if there'd been a few more items in the home, such as a couple kitchen staples (we had to immediately go buy salt and other basics). There were minimal supplies (one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towel, no Kleenex). Otherwise, though, the house is very nice and we loved it.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were two families, with 8 in total age 50 something to 16. This was the perfect house and location, situated between Tahoe City and Kings beach. It was tranquil and relaxing, many games to pick from, too many books to count, the TV was huge with excellent picture. Kitchen was quite large and well equipped with a view that made spending time in the kitchen on your vacation a treat. Sofa, beds, linens and towels were very comfortable. I have rented Airbnbs before, if the rental allows 9 people, you get 9 forks, 9 spoons, 9 plates, saggy mattress, rough sheets and ****** towels etc. This was not that. The house was immaculate, they recently updated the sofas, carpet and pier since I book in 2023 which was such a pleasant surprise. Management company was excellent. I had a question, called and got a hold of a real person in seconds. There were kayaks, sup, tubes and a buoy, we could get on the water any time we wanted with out driving, parking or crossing the road, priceless!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is homey, clean, with an extremely well stocked kitchen. Everything is mostly functional but there are some little things like knobs on drawers or closet doors that are loose and almost coming off. This doesn’t get in the way of anything but I was concerned that something fragile like that would break during our stay and we would be blamed. But that did not happen. The price we paid was expensive so I felt for top dollar it could be better maintained. There are also lots of trinkets in the home from previous owners I supposed. This gives it a homey feel and was nice. However, if you have young children it is an issue since our 5 year olds wanted to play with everything and our one year old had to be watched like a hawk for fear of swallowing something small. Also since it is three stories we had to watch the toddler for fear of falling down the stairs. Bring or rent a couple pressure fit safety gates if you have a toddler. You’ll thank me. Not the best spot for the youngest kids. The views from the kitchen balcony are amazing - having your cup of coffee there every morning was such a joy. The access to the lake is great and in the summer when the lake would be used more it will be a real advantage for this home.

Nirvana by the lake

Beautiful home on the lake tastefully appointed with exquisite Native American art. Fifteen minutes from skiing and five minutes from shopping - a perfect place for a weekend away. Place was clean, comfortable with all the amenities one would need and even a slew of board games and a spa bathtub. Host was so accommodating and caring with very timely in responses. Thank you for your lovely home. An excellent experience.

Great house with incredible view of the lake!

Rented the house over New Years 2017 with several friends and while it's not a huge space like some Tahoe houses, it was more that adequate for 8 adults and 2 kids. The view of the lake from the house is amazing, as are the sunrises. Bedrooms are spacious, living room is good size (although the couch and chairs are pretty uncomfortable honestly). Unfortunately, there isn't a hot tub, which would be nice after a long day on the mountain. We definitely rent the house again.
